I have GD and I am going for a VBAC this time. The doctor wants to avoid all forms of hormonal induction and so mentioned that they would try using a balloon to start labour this time if I have to be induced (which I am hoping does not happen). I think if your waters break (or are broken for you) and contractions do not start or do not stay strong, then they have to use the drip so from what I gather, the Ob wants to avoid AROM. We haven't discussed it in a lot of detail yet because I am hoping it all happens spontaneously and I don't need to worry about any of it.
