What a gorgeous post, and a great achievement for the two of you.

If you have a journal or album or something you write stories in for Jas, please copy your words in. An amazing memory to pass on.

Well done hun, you have done a great job. She is a lucky girl to have been able to choose her own time, and in time I think you will feel more peace with it

    Thanks everyone

She had a 'feed' just then, a hop-on, hop-off kind of feed. Nothing this morning, and we'll just rock and hug to sleep tonight, which is nice.

So why do I feel like crying now? That was just beautiful. You should frame that and keep it in her bedroom as a special little keepsake.

Well ... still going ... sort of. She's just started cutting her two-year-old molars, all four at once! ARGH my poor little mite! She's feeding more and feeding to sleep at the moment as well. Was feeling better about her weaning but am also mostly ok that she is still going LOL. As long as she still needs me, I'm here for her

The way you have written your story is just beautiful!!! Its sounds so peaceful, calm and time appropriate. It honestly reads like a booby-fed fairytale! Well done to both of you for raising such a decisive and knowing young lady!
    Good luck for October too!
I agree with Cass72...what a lovely piece to frame and look back on in the future
