Well after proudly telling people that DD is still loving her "boo" first thing in the morning and last thing at night and that I had no intention of stopping her before she was ready, which included tandem feeding if that's what she wanted, it looks like she has weaned
Saturday morning (after a late night Friday with the Melb BB chicks, woo!, followed by a few wake ups by DD) I was exhausted and DH told me just to go back to bed - if DD wanted a feed he'd let me know. Normally she has a nappy change, a cup of cow's milk, then comes looking for "Mama? Mama? BOO!" Literally walking around the house calling out for boo. I listened, as I dozed in bed, and she was fine. Played with DH quite happily.
Sat night she still wanted "Boo!" before bed so that was nice...
Sun morning same thing as previous morning, no interest at all - and it was even me who got her up as DH had gone out for the day!
Sun night, she had her bath, her tea, played for a while, into the night nappy, then DH took her and put her down - she needed a resettle and then was quiet. No boo!
This morning, same thing as previous mornings. No boo!
While part of me is slightly relieved that I don't need to fret about her going to sleep or waking up with no boo while I am in labour and hospital, as now I know she is ok without it, much of me is sad that our journey appears to be over.
