vent about GP

I went to my GP today for myself, nothing to do with 10m.o. DD and she looked at her and said she looks small and she wanted to weigh, measure her length e.t.c. She looked at the percentiles and said she cant fall below a certain amount . . etc. My DD is falling a little bit but not drastically, she looks healthy and has a bit of "chub". I had also told her I breastfeed on demand which usually ends up being 6 or 7 times as she is still feeding a fair bit overnight. She seemed to think that this was too many feeds. She said I need to back off the breastfeeds and push more solids. My DD already eats as much as I can get into her 3 meals plus snacks. I wish the medical professionals were more supportive of breastfeeding. Its also hard to not take it a bit personally. I really shouldn't have let it get to me but I just felt like a bit of an idiot. These things always catch me off guard. Thanks for listening to my rant.
