If she is happy and you are happy, i dont see what the problem is? I think sometimes doctors just go by "textbook", not what the mother or baby want or need. You know your baby better then anybody. I say if it is working for both of you then keep it up. My DD is on the smaller side, totally different from my DS, but we are all happy and healthy.
