do you need to cook the fruit?

Hi, ive been making my own baby food, today im going to do some more pureed fruit, i was just wondering, do you need to stew it before you puree it? or can i just puree it without cooking it and then freeze? does it go brown if you dont cook it first?

I've read that when it's babies first foods, all fruit besides banana, avocado & paw paw should be cooked. Once they're eating well & used to food you can give them very ripe fruit without cooking it first.
Uncooked fruit doesn't seem to go brown in my experience. I often freeze mashed pear, apple, rockmelon, banana with no trouble.

I would always suggest cooking as it makes it more digestable for the child and also kills any bacteria.
