maddie: aww they made u a card thats so sweet!
as for maternity bras, i bought some when i was about 25 weeks and they were enourmous on me and the lady was like i think theyre too big...now im busting out of them haha! so will have to buy even bigger ones for BF'ing.
LOL i wasnt gonna mention the fight they had incase G hadnt told you bout it, pretty full on, i come from a small family that doesnt hang out much so its been hard 4 me to adjust to dozens of family members all with thier own 'special' opinions
haha i like how you say special opinions, i come from a close family with lots of girls and lots of arguing (mainly with step mum- cant stand her) and billys family are quite blunt and not as open and loud as im used to. Gaea has found it quite hard to feel accepted aswell, but her family is also very different aswell so i think you will find you might feel quite the same , i think she likes you the most, she never has anything bad to say about you, i said that to her last night
awww. yeah me and G get along great. i understand alot of what shes goin thru i had bad depression for years and still have anxiety problems, and think she is doin the best job she can with what the world has dealt to her (does that make sense?) but pete needs to get a bloody job! i think thatd take alot of stress off thier plates, i dunno how they get by, me and DP struggle as it is and he works full time. i think alot of ppl think im rude or blunt but ive never connected with my family and moved out on my own at 16 and have been pretty much alone and supported myself until now its been very hard to go from being single party girl to pretty much a mum overnite!!
*sticks head in* lol
It's hard when you get together with someone who has had a completely different upbringing to you... like, you both think your upbringing and family situation were completely normal, and then you meet someone who was raised differently and *they* think *their* childhood was normal, and it all gets weird from there hahahhaa... DH thinks I'm a spoiled princess, I think his dad is/was (I refer to him in past tense lol, he's in prison atm and hopefully will be staying there till he carks it, if he gets out before then I won't have him anywhere near me or the kids, I don't care what DH says, he's dead to me) a complete buttf*** and did the worst job ever of raising his son :/ And our parents don't get along either lol, DH's dad thinks my parents are snobs, my parents think he's a massive dero (which, let's be honest, he IS) with a superiority complex (you know, the kind of person who thinks they're better than everyone else *because* they're a dero?? And is always going on about how everybody judges them, but then they constantly judge everybody else, making them just as bad, kwim?)...
It sure made for awkward family gatherings :/
Gah, Mother's Day was an epic fail... it started Saturday night - DH skipped out on coming baby shopping with me because DD was sick (fair enough, I wasn't taking her out in public the way she was), so he didn't get to buy me a present, then he hit the roof when I spent $220 on baby gear (starting with $80 for a box of nappies for bub and DD, she was nearly out), and THEN he decides that now's the time to tell me he doesn't really want the baby and that I 'nagged' him into it...
Which is absolute BS, for the record... he told me to stop taking the Pill and then asked me every day for a week whether I'd stopped yet (I kept taking it for a few days in case he changed his mind just to be sure)!!
So mad at him right now. I've been mad all weekend, and he doesn't care As per frickin' usual, EVERYTHING is about HIM and how HE feels and blah blah blah... he's turning out more like his stupid father every day and it's scary
Then yesterday morning, I had a doctor's appt for DD, DH wouldn't get out of bed to take her and let me have a lie-in so I got up early and took her to the doctor's, THEN the snotty receptionist was really rude to me and wouldn't let us in because my Medicare card expired a few days ago...
The only good thing about it was that DH let me order pizza instead of cooking lol.
So... hope everyone else had a good day lol, mine was total BS but I suppose there's always next year
Tat! Glad your DP is doing *something* at least. Better than nothing.
~Heavenly~, DF is the same. I dont' think I have ever received a birthday present on my birthday. It's always a couple of days before. He can't keep a surprise to save himself :P
If DF complains about me taking all his money he's got a problem! My pay goes on the house repayments and reno saving, and his money is general "living" money. When he ever has a dig at me spending "his" money I just tell him to move out of my house There comes a time when you have to realise that being a team is going to get your further that splitting everything, I think.
Gothmum, sorry to hear about your mothers day, mine wasn't to flash either if it makes you feel any better. I slept most of it away and had a mini tantrum when DF woke me up to go to his parents for dinner for mothers day.... speaking of family's getting along and different up bringings, I could probably write a novel!
Sounds like your DH is being a bit of a b*tch too! Must be his man rags haha, i swear they get them more often than we do!
