BDT, just search 'implantation issue' and came up this thread...after total of 5 failed transfer (3 fresh and 2 FET) and 1 missed m/c, I also start to re-visiting this potential issue. I don't think I have done all these tests, I raised this issue before to my old FS but then I got a BFP so put it at the back burner, the m/c is due to chromosomal abnormality. Does this exclude me from having implantation issue? Because since then, I've never got a hint of HCG either...

I will see how this cycle go and then have a chat with FS to request the tests...

Also want to ask, how much blood they will take in order to run those test, the list seems pretty long, do they do it in one hit or have to go back a few times? I am a big sook on b/t....

    Hi CP

When I had the tests they took about 12 viles of blood, they should offer, so if they dont, ask for the thin needle with a tiny tube attached, and they run the bloods through that little tube, and keep clicking on new test tubes...

It doesnt hurt at all sweets

Has anyone heard from Possums, she was getting test results on Friday, of various tests, and they had found something and where giving her the results Friday.......?? Hope your okay Miss Possums x

    Hi CP,
As WLAB said, I too had about 12 vials in one hit, it did take a while and was starting to hurt, but I put up with it. I definitely think it is worth getting tested again, I think almost all of those that I had done were covered by Medicare excluding 2 or 3, it was a cost of about $480 up front, but got it all back except for about $60.

Wishing you all the luck with this cycle and hope you don't need to go down this track. Big hugs xx

CP : I wanted to add, my FS said I did not have an implantation issue, mine was an egg issue. I said to her " I dont want to go through various cycle's to get pregnant, then to find out I do, in fact, have implantation issues. I went in armed with every test I had ever heard of, and she was more than happy to test.

If you would like the item numbers let me know sweets. I have kept everything..

Thanks girls, that is so very helpful. Now it becomes my top priority...I have FS appt on 23 April, just not holding my breath on this 5-cell Day 3 TF, I hope it will prove me wrong...

Ok, now, about the item numbers, do I have to tell him what I want to test or if I mention 'implantation issue', FS will automatic know the list...I don't want have 12 viral of blood taken and found out he actually left out a fatal one...(I am just so precious about my blood don't know why?)

Is it insulting if I take a long list from here and give it to him?

    CP:

Really gald that you're looking into this - I would defintiely take the whole list with you, while your FS probably knows what to do it never hurts to be sure.

Hi Cuddlepie, i also have an appt with my FS on 23 April, and don't worry, i'll be taking a list with me! I have only had one failed transfer, but i don't want to wait for multiple failed et's and then ask for further testing iykwim? Best wishes to you xx
