I think if there is no rush, it might be better to enjoy your new job for a while. You will need to take time off work for egg pick ups, embryo transfer and the blood tests which can be every second day in a cycle - so you might be late for work depending on start times. Also, on I needed to take at least one day off after my egg pick up.
So it might be better to be settled in your job before. Also, you should really find out their policy on maternity leave - because fingers crossed, you won't have to wait too long and then it would be great to have mat leave. But they might not be happy if 6 months into the job, you tell them you want to go on mat leave in a few months.
But if you are desperate to start trying and not worried about mat leave or taking time off, then go for it!
