picked up the drugs on wednesday, but then was overwhelmed and sooky - wasn't expecting that because I had been excited for the cycle to start. now it's just morning waiting and taking the pill - which is weird in itself - so apparently I can drink next week.... and I just feel so overwhelmed and tired.

sorry to hear you were having trouble with your friends new Kerbear, I too find it difficult at times - I wish I didn't need support, and i wish I could keep my mouth shut and not need to talk to people and tell people what's happening (not that I tell many, but there are a few, and I can see they feel sorry for me and i don't like it)

just another 'dip' day for me - guess that's the rollercoaster of IVF.
    hope you're feeling better kerbear

    Hi ladies!

Just a quick update from me....I've picked up my meds on 19/12 and they have been in the fridge since then. Silently I am crapping my pants right about now, as AF is due on the weekend and I'm supposed to be injecting on day 2 me thinks.....I haven't actually read all the literature the IVF nurse gave me cos I'm just starting to freak out a little! lol. You'd think this was my first cycle I just don't know how my body will take all the drugs 3 years after my first cycle......I'm crapping myself just thinking about that first injection pen as the previous one I had was all loaded up (gonal I think) so I just had to click on my dosage. This time the pen is different, I have to load the cartrige....what if I can't? The nurse showed me only once and I was like, yeah, ok, looks easy, now I'm freaking out

Where are you ladies up to? Anyone started the Jan cycle? How's it going myturn??????

    Hiya MissB

I am CD7 today. Been jabbing since CD3. I have a scan in the morning to check follies. Hopefully I have some!!!

Don't worry about the pen. You will work it out! If in doubt, follow the instructions in the pack

    Good luck!

Happy new year to everyone, my news years resolution is to be positive no matter what, after our bad Christmas day of having the beach wash out our camper I figured this year has to be better :-)
Nothing2lose- so excited for you now that it has all started, good luck with your scan.
Missb- how are you going? Have you started your cycle?
I am counting down the days till I can go get my injections and start, I am so excited to be doing something that I hope will work for us to have a baby this year.
Has anyone else started their cycles yet????
My fingers are crossed for everyone, baby dust.

happy new year to you all as well!

I started the Synarel nasal spray this morning.... was a bit anxious, but it wasn't too bad. I took it 10 minutes ago and have been trying not to sneeze - I've got a weird taste in the back of my throat. bleugh. I hope I don't have to do this for too much longer than needed. Last cycle I had to jab the puregon for longer cause I wasn't responding to the drugs as well as hoped.

Down reg is such a slower cycle than the antagonist, I am glad to be doing "something", but it's weird to be taking so long. I figured out the dates last night, and just as I go back to work it will be time to EPU and ET (at least it will be nice to have extra days off work). But it means the TWW will be the beginning of feb - which will be when school goes back - kind of wish I could just sit on the couch for two weeks, but at the same time it will be good to have something to do. still I wish our bodies did what we wanted them to do, rather than make us go through this at all.

Don't worry MissB - it will come back to you when you start jabbing (and if it doesn't the instruction manual is there that's what I used)

Good luck N2L - I hope the scan goes well today.

Kerbear, when do you expect to be starting to jab yourself?? it's good to have a 'positive resolution' - but you know it's okay to be miserable about it sometimes as well!! just as long as the miserableness doesn't outweigh the positiveness. good luck with it!!

Hi myturn, I am hoping to have started jabbing by 13 just have to wait for af to come, I am on antagonist cycle and I can see from what you have written and what the nurses have said it is a shorter one than others. I feel for all of you who have to do even more things, mine is daunting enough. If all the dates for into line we should start our tww end jan/beginning of feb.
    Good luck with yours :-)

Thought I'd post too. I have appointment on Thurs where I expect to pick up my meds. If my calculations are correct then I expect to start jabbing on the 12th Jan. It will be my first ICSI cycle and I am nervous but excited. It has felt that this cycle has been such a long time coming what with being on zoladex for the last 3 months. So I am hopeful. Trying to remain positive but we will see how long that lasts.

So Kerbear and myturn, looks like our timelines might be pretty similar.

    Good luck everyone.

Just picked up my meds, we were meant to be doing a FET but FS wasn't keen on it as we only have one embryo and if it doesn't survive the thaw we have nothing. So starting another full stim, wasn't quite prepared for it so feeling a bit all over the shop at the moment!!! Af is due around 22 jan do jabs will start around 25 jan x

    Hi lovely ladies!

Hi N2L hun! Yay, you've started jabbing! How funny we get excited about the jabs I suppose it's a brand new cycle, brand new beginning! I hope your scan went well today and you have some lovely follies growing

kerbear, I'm doing the antagonist ISCI cycle. It's good b/c it's a short one but it's just so full on, bang bang bang and then the TWW! Hopefully we'll all get there GL sweetie!

myturn, don't worry hun, you'll be right behind us! My friend did the spray thing and she just wanted to sneeze all the time! lol. GL honey, hopefully this cycle will bring you your much wanted BFP!

Tei, aww thanks hunni! Hopefully will be all UTD with you soon! So good to see you flying along nicely!

Hi Jane! We'll be doing the ICSI cycle together. By my calculations I should be starting jabbing around the 9/10 Jan. GL to you to hun!

Amy, bugger about the fully stim. cycle but it foes make sense. If the embie is not up to scratch then you would have wasted your time. So you could end up with lots of embies with the frozen embie and the fresh ones! I wish I had some embies up my sleeve.... GL to you too sweetie!

Well ladies, let the show begin! Looks like the lovely N2L is first off the mark. Will have absolutely crossed for you hunni that this is the ONE!

Hi guys. Just a reminder to keep general cycle chatter to the LTTTC and Assisted Conception sticky thread. Threads asking and responding to specific questions are fine but much better to hang out in the sticky thread for chit chat and cycle talk. Thanks!

Hi nothing2lose- sorry if this might sound dumb but I thought I was getting the hang of this but I am confused. If I want to chat like we have been on this thread with the others going through ivf cycles this year do I go to LTTTC assisted conception and post under the sticky tab and open a new chat, just want to try and get it right do I can follow along with everyone.
