Hi everyone, how are you all doing???

Cathie how is it going with Charlie?? Hope you are both doing ok and you are getting enough sleep and lots of newborn snuggles.

I am 24 weeks today I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Frogglette has been very active and loves to kick the crap out of me. I have another midwife appointment on the 1/2 then have to attend some VBAC info sessions and then I will get stuck in and write my birth plan. I should be coming up for fortnightly visits after all that.

Well my DD1 wrote a letter to her dad re his new wife and how unwelcome she now feels at his house so he is making the effort to see her without the missus and is just spending time with her and him. They met for coffee this week and I hope he keeps it up. The stepmum is being a real biartch to DD1 and I think it is just because she doesn't like sharing him with another female, even if it is his daughter (well step daughter) If she tries this on the boys then she will have me to deal with. The mind games are terrible on the kids.

Hoping everyone in QLD, VIC and upper NSW who are flood affected are ok. Huge hugs to all

Hello everyone, my family is so big but I would love to have more ( not that I can see that happening ) I had my 4th in DEC and he is just beautiful and I love him to pieces already, cant believe how well he is fitting in, the older winkies just love him to bits and my fear that they wouldnt leave him alone has been unfounded, they love to just look at him and give him lots of kisses and cuddles, 4 days after giving birth my DH came and told me he wanted to seperate, it wasnt a huge suprise but still hard to deal with even if he has been away since oct, so he is now back in QLD and I am in VIC with the winkies, looking for a new cheaper house to rent ( not easy as no one wants to rent to someone with 4 kids ) but fingers crossed something comes up very soon as I dont want to have to keep paying rent in this house as it is going to get too small very soon...

So its been a very stressful month so far, just hoping once I have a house and settled in I can start enjoying life again...

Has anyone else been in the same situation, been single with 4 kids, I am terified I will be alone for the rest of my life and I am only 31...

I try to look on the bright side I might one day find a crazy guy willing to be with a pre-made family... who knows I might even get to have a few more winkies....

Welcome GTF. I'm sorry to hear DH has decided to leave. It can be done as a single parent. I have been a single parent of 3 and then met a lovely man (through a web dating site  ) but we now have 2 with another on the way. I didn't have to find another house though as I got a mortgage with the divorce lol. We have now bought our own house together and it is so much bigger (we now need it ) I was older than you when DH and I broke up so chin up lovely and I'm sure it will work out. We are here if you need to chat about anything xxx

Thanks Kim, good to know there is hope for me yet, I guess I just cant imagin any man wanting to take on 4 winkies that arent his, seeing as it was enough to scare off their own father...

I am one of 7 and have to say I love been from a big family, getting a bit busy now when we all get together as we are all having our kidlets but its so nice to know that the cousins will all grow up together...

    Hi Green Tree Frog
I had 4 kids when I split with my 1st husband.
It was hard at times but we got through together.
I meet a man a couple of years later we went on get married and have three of our own.
Unfortunately I am now going through another marriage break up and am now a single mother of 7.
Because my 1st husband passed 4 months ago I have sole custody of the older 4 and my 2nd husband is just having our 2 older girls once a week.

Cathie I don't at the moment.
I have a Mitsibishi Pajero which fits 7...me and 6 kids.
Before I split with my DH we would take two cars.
The older 2 catch the bus to school and the younger two walk.
I really need to upgrade...not sure how I can do that on my own now.

pmsl Cathie you just had Charlie and your talking about another one I have an 8 seater tarago but when miss Frogglette comes all the seats will be taken. You will need a bigger bus lol maybe a 12 seater and then you can fill em up lol. I'm very jealous that Charlie sleeps all night. My youngest 2 still don't sleep all night and with this one on the way my sleep will be non existant boo hoo. I am feeling huge atm and sooooooo hot. This weather is really getting me down. I can't stand the heat at the best of times never mind while pregnant. Glad you are feeling better too.

How is everyone doing???? Take care all and chat soon

    Hello everyone,
Do you mind if I join in here? I am expecting number 4 in Oct, so I guess I have one of the smaller families here (which is a nice change). I am one of six kids myself and always felt that I would have a larger family. The funny thing is it doesn't even seem large at all to me, it is more just everyone else's perception.

We are upgrading our car before the next bub comes along, and are going to get a grand carnival (8seater) - which gives us a bit of extra room for friends, and perhaps another kids or two down the track. I feel like 5 is the 'right' number for us, I just have to work on convincing DH of that (which I am slowly).

I'm doing ok Cathie. I have been diagnosed with GD but am in the early stages so not sure what is happening yet. I have to chart for 2 weeks and then I go back and see the dietician, the midwife and the endocrinologist (next Wednesday actually) Will keep you informed. I haven't put on much weight so far - only 3.5 kg so i'm very happy about that. My belly looks like I have swallowed a watermelon though lol You'll be catching up to halltribe soon lol she is pg with her 9th. My suggestion about the 12 seater bus may come in handy pmsl.

I have been looking at upgrading the tarago to one that has a door on either side but when I've read the reviews they say the newer models are smaller on the inside and in the boot area I like the space we have now so I may have to look at something else. My eldest DD is 16 on Saturday I'm so in denial about that lol. I don't feel anywhere old enough to have a DD that age. My mirror must be a magic mirror lol.

What is everyone else up to????

    Take care all
