THANK YOU!! I am so glad that me feeling upset is justified... I am feeling horrible about this pregnancy as it is... feeling sick coupled with a very unplanned pregnancy is really making it tough. Then I get comments like this... I feel like bawling!

I know how you feel - it hits a button when you are still coming to terms with the pregnancy yourself, to have people say such awful things.

When I was having #5, I was having my hair done at about thirty weeks and the woman next to me asked if it was my first. No, I said, it's #5. "Are you Catholic?" she asked incredulously. INstead of being rude, I answered and said, "No, this is our "oops"". "Well that's what contraception is for!" she said. I was so upset I just cried for the rest of the day.

This one, #6, is a total oops too (careless, I know, but I love him, so nyah) and I was so nervous about what people would say. Then I decided that i would just not care, that I would announce this pregnancy as proud as punch and with a big grin, and if anyone was rude to me, or about it, I would say, "How incredibly rude!"

When my sister heard about my unexpected pregnancy, she was delighted for me even though I was upset. "It's a *baby*," she said.

Take care - I hope that you are able to come to terms with your pregnancy and enjoy it as much as you deserve to. You've had an unexpected person in your life and you'll embrace it and love it, and that's *great*. I'll celebrate with you!
