Congrats. on your pg, I know what it's like to have a surprise bub, the idea can take a bit of getting used to especially when your feeling blah. I hope that are able to find some enjoyment soon. As for your "friend" don't let her crass talk debase you or the intamite act that created your precious little one.

Well said skybie, it is absolutely unacceptable to be so rude to a person 'behind their back' / 'in public'. If she said it to you, at least you would have had a right of reply. I think you have a perfectly justifiable right to feel offended. A new pregnancy is something to be congratulated, celebrated and enjoyed, not disapproved of by someone who has no responsibility in the situation or mocked so crassly.:
I agree with the others who suggest to 'unfriend' her. I wouldn't bother posting back, her comment doesn't deserve a public response. I would avoid a public slinging match - it would just be more upsetting. I had a friend go through something like this on facebook, someone was really offensive and when she messaged them, the person sent her private message to everyone with a sarcastic response. It wasn't pretty. I think you should just move on as the bigger person and celebrate the new addition to your clan.
Congratulations Tanya, what a wonderful gift to have a big family. More joy for you and your partner and more siblings for your kids. Siblings can give kids support in this world like no-one else can.
Maybe something like - 'some people have no class and are CRASS beyond words.....'

Both my husband and my self are from 7 children families and both parents 7th child was unplanned. But the joy they both bought. :)
How many children you have is no one else's business whether planned or unplanned.

:hug: Tanya. That is really awful that someone would do that. It's very annoying that she didn't think about your feelings. Is she a close friend? If so, perhaps you could let her know that she has upset you. Otherwise, maybe just stop contact with her. It doesn't sound like it would be any great loss to you!

Ive had people comment on my pregnancy. Things like " dont you own a TV" Another BB gal told me to tell them that DH and I find sex so much more exciting than TV and maybe they should try it.
I agree with the others, say something really sarcastic then delete her a$$. Pregnancy is stressful enough without having people like that in your ear.

When we were expecting number 4,5 Twins well I got are you sure you have had enough yet, Do you want a football team,Are you having any more, Your getting too old to have any more children. When I tell people that I would Love just one more people look at me as if I'm a freak. Don't worry who cares what people think as long as you and your hubby are happy. She is no friend.

Oh Tanya, I just feel your pain hun. To be judged by those who don't know better is the worst pain.

Seriously though... I'd give the cow what-for and then shame her as publicly as possible. Her opinion on your family is fine as long as she keeps it to herself, but to go broadcasting her pettiness in public is not only rude and completely classless, it's embarrassing for the both of you. You, because it invades your privacy and erodes your enjoyment, and her because it shows her up for the pathetic little cat that she no doubt is.

I said it in another thread - you honestly don't realise what morons people can be until you're pregnant/have kids. Then, EVERYBODY's got an opinion on your personal life and they all feel free to say it out loud. Not on.
Congrats on your pregnancy, though!! You sound like an absolute supermum, I applaud you!! I personally couldn't have more than two but that's just me - far from judging or looking down on mums with a fully-packed minivan, I shake their hand!! As long as you, your partner and the kidlets are happy, healthy and comfy, then the opinions of narrow-minded sooks don't matter at all. I hope you feel a bit better (this pregnancy has been super-hard on me too so I know how you feel, it's awful being so sick and blah that you can't just relax and enjoy it!) soon and don't let the haters get you down.
