We were ttc for seven years with multiple rounds of ivf before we got our sticky bfp. I had a massive sub chorionic bleed at six weeks and the pregnancy wasn't looking good. We were really hanging out to be able to finally tell our friends and family our good news when we knew whether or not the babies were viable and when I was home on bed rest as a result of the sch and missed a family party, mil told absolutely everybody that I was pregnant. Words could not describe how p!ssed I was.
We control how often we see her. Try and visit them instead of having her at home that way we can just leave when we reach boiling point. I also don't begin any conversations with her at all, I know that sounds rude but she prefers to talk over everyone anyway so a topic your interested in is pointless. I also avoid any one on one time with her at all costs. Most importantly I have lowered my expectations of her. Wish you luck mate..... It's certainly not easy with a difficult MIL.
