Thats really sad. im sorry that you have been used and treated so meanly!!!!

Do your kids get along?? If they dont I wouldnt go to the party... I cant see them being overly nice to you while your there. Are there any other play groups you could join?? I would just back away and not bother with these two, easier said than done when your trying to make new friends! But just from what you have said, I dont think they are very nice.

Sorry I'm not much help- I dont make friends that easily either, I went to a play group for a year and never got close to any of the women there, they had their own little "mothers group" that got together regularly that I was never invited to. I have BB to thank for the decent friends I have made recently :-)
