I think it's pretty clear that schools need to be teaching etiquite classes - all joking aside, someone really does need to start teaching basic life skills and manners again, because we've all become so selfish and rude!
I hear you, but from my experience, kids who aren't expected to have any manners at home (or to respect their parents or share or respect others' property or whatever) aren't going to respect their teachers or obey any etiquette rules taught there ...

so definately have it reinforced at school, but start it at home ...
