We recently stayed at the Chevron Towers also and it was great - However the indoor pool is being renovated and we had a few chilly Days (Oct) and the outdoor pool is COLD. The apartments are nice, clean etc and its very close to amenities - eg there is a Coles / Chemist / Liquorland downstairs with other assorted shops, we enjoyed our stay

However the last two times we went, we stayed at the Crown Towers, just down the road - the only reason we didn't stay there this time is because it was booked out. The Crown is much more spacious (the apartments are bigger and better set out), the whole place is more quiet and has a separate kids/toddlers pool and playground as well as a large sandy bottom main pool, and it has the best Thai restaurant in the world within the complex - Changmai Thai!! Oh, and they have a beauty spa on site - highly recommend them, DH and I had divine couples massages - bliss!!

While the Chevron is slightly better location wise, IMO the Crown is more family friendly and relaxing. Next time we go we'll be making sure we book in time to get the Crown, though having said that I have no problem with staying at the Chevron again
