Hmm. I'm tertiary educated (Bachelors degree plus a graduate diploma) and I'm a SAHM.
So... it's better for my son for me to be working? Excuse me while I cry complete BS to that one! I know that I'm dealing with health issues that generally don't come into the equation for most people, but seriously? Teaching is such a demanding occupation and even if I was completely well, I wouldn't have had much time left for Sam once I do my job properly.
What's alarming about me staying at home? Apart from the fact that my non-tertiary educated husband is the main income earner and can't earn as much as I did... but I can only see how that would alarm us, not others.
