when do you go to bed and get up?

That is my question: when do you go to bed, and when do you get up?

Is it different on days off and weekends?

Does your partner get up at different times?

Normally (outside of times when I have a LO feeding overnight) I get up at 6am, and I go to bed around midnight. On weekends, I will sleep as long as LOs allow - generally until around 7am, sometimes (**bliss**) until 8 or 9 ... we're praying that DS2 sleeps as well as DS1 does, because I would love to be able to get some more sleep again!

DH goes to bed at the same time as me, but is able to get up later for work - an hour or two later, in face. But he'll generally get up, help out a bit, and then go back to bed.

Before children, we would often sleep really late on Saturdays (sleeping in [and of BDing] until the early afternoon was not unheard of) but we would just as often get up around 8 and do the shopping and housework.

At the moment though, all bets are off as our sleeping is pretty much dictated by when DS2 needs my boobies. Such is life.

    How about you?

As I am currently crazy and studying I am generally up until 0100 and then up at some stage between 3 and 4 to get DS2 and bring to our bed and then in bed till 0700 or 0720 (on a good morning can get kids to lie in bed with me until 0830).

DH goes to bed between 2200 and 2300 and is up between 0630 and 0730 for work.

On weekends days I am not working or not working till PM DH manages to sleep in which annoyes crap out of me!!!!!

Pre kids I would love sleeping in till noon but that is all a long way away!!

I used to love to sleep, DH and I would sleep in till about 10/11am on Sat and on Sunday later lol.

These days I go to bed after work 4 nights a week at 1am then the other 3 I go to bed at 8pm as being pregnant with two boys is taking it out of me!

DH goes to bed same time as me as he has insomnia and honestly doesn't need as much sleep as me to function. I really think some people need more sleep than other to function.

So Boys get up at 6.30 most mornings and DH will get up with them and I get up around 8am when he leaves for work. Though I do get up a million times a night to pee.

Sleep is a long gone luxury but I do LOVE waking up to two beautiful DS's!

I've only just finished working out my natural sleep cycle, ie how many hours I need. Now I need to regulate my sleep pattern to enable the cycle to fit in with my life.

I try to be in bed before midnight, actually tonight it is 10pm and I'm already in bed & about to turn the laptop off.

My alarm goes off at 6am but the snooze button is my friend/enemy at the moment. I need to start getting up and do yoga, go to the gym or go for a jog in the mornings.

When OH and I end up living together when he gets back, we'll deal with the whole sleep thing then. Neither of us are used to having an extra body in the bed, both of us sleep on the same side of the bed & he won't be working when we're home together but I will, but that will probably change next year when I'm hopefully back studying full-time.

School holidays at the moment, so I go to bed between 10 & 12.

We're up between 6 & 8 most mornings. School days the latest is 7-7.30am.

when do you go to bed and get up?

I'm normally in bed around 8pm but latest 9. I get up for work any time between 5 and 6am.

We're both usually awake with DS around 3am and its rare that he goes back to sleep so some days we're awake from 3am. Weekends are no different.

DF goes to bed usually later than me. He does shift work so some days he doesn't get to bed until midnight.

DH and I both usually go to bed at the same time, around 9.30. And get up whenever we're woken by the girls, usually around 6.30.

I usually go to bed around 10.30pm and get up whenever DD wakes up - which is usually about the same time DS comes in to our room - somewhere around 6-6.30am.

anywhere from 8-10. i feed DD in bed at night, then cuddle her til she goes to sleep. i have the TV on though while i do. i usually crash around 10 or just after. am up for work at 6
weekends we tend to wake anywhere from 6-7 cos DD wakes. if we're lucky, she'll then have boob in bed til 8 or later. DH often takes her out so i can lay in bed just relaxing for a while - so i may not get up til 9.
i go to bed same time every night - DD doesn't much know the difference between work night and weekend, so i just snuggle her in bed. nights when i don't have to work the next day, i may watch more eps of whatever series i'm watching at the time though (six feet under at the moment)

DH stays up later. he doesn't need as much sleep (and he can nap during the day - the man can sleep ANYWHERE if he's tired - i can't nap during the day even for a few minutes - cos i can't sleep at night if i do!)

I usually go to sleep sometime between 10pm and 1am. I usually wake up at about 7am although sometimes I manage to get back to sleep until 9am on the weekend or school holidays.

I wait up for DH to get home from work at night, then we have our own catch up on the day and chat without the girls having their say too. So most nights we dont crash until midnight or 1am. Its a luxury to be in bed before 11pm, and on the odd nights that we are, we cant sleep cause its too early
Wake up is I dont usually get up til about 8am. But thats cause Im up all night with all the night time stuff. So feeds and nappy changes for dd3, escorting dd2 when she she walks etc.
The girls wake up at around 6am give of take half hr. So dh gets up with them whilst I get some rest. Then he trots off to work at around 10-10:30am.

Oh weekends dont make any difference here, each day rolls into another really

At the moment I'm going to bed around 9pm, but then waking up with horrible insomnia around 1.30am. I'm then awake until between 4-5am, then doze on and off until getting up around 7am. Pretty much like that 7 days. DH will sometimes come to bed around the same time as me but normally he's more like 10pm. He's up early for golf on Saturdays - 6 to 6.30 am. Sunday sleep ins are a thing of the past generally. Good old pre-kid days we would laze in bed until we were too hungry not to get up! Every now and then he tries to give me a lie in on a Sunday morning but the girls are hopeless at leaving me alone - even if they think they are by tiptoing into our room to give me "sleeping kisses".

I've always been a morning person so need a relatively early night and I need 8 hours of sleep a night to really recharge and feel good. 8 hours nightly is a distant memory for years now.

I got to bed around 8:30pm, usually read for 30mins or so then lights out.
Work days I am up by 6:20am. Non work days, DH gets up 1st and I get up around 7am.
Weekends, DH gets up for breakfast and I usually get up around 8am, still go to bed the same time every night of the week usually, except this week and for the Offspring season, on a Wednesday I will be staying up late

Weekends, really depends but I have been sleeping in until about 8.30am and I go to bed later around 10.30pm

Far too late and far too early

I usually go to bed around 10pm when DH is home, but when he's on nightshift it could be as late as 1-2 am especially if I have a lot of Uni assignments to do. I always get up at 6.40am on school days and on saturdays during footy season it is anywhere from 4.30am to 7am depending on where we are playing that week. Last saturday we were playing at Cobar, which is a 4hr trip one way so I was up at 4.30am, but this week we are playing in town so it's only a 7am start. On a normal weekend it could be as late as 10am if I'm really lucky but usually 7.30-8am.
