I have also had a Myomectomy. I had about 7 removed, the largest alien being 12cm - yup not a typo. I was lucky enough to have one of the top lap guys do it. He did warn me due to the size he may have to cut me, but thankgoodness the genius that he is..did it all laprascopically.
Drbeee described it perfectly.
I had a few bladder complications which kept me in hospital for 5 days, instead of the normal 1-2..but that was due to the size of what was removed and happily paid the price rather then being cut.
He did warn me that he left a few tiny ones behind because he felt that my uterus had enough trauma for one day and felt that they wouldn't cause problems.
I actually had an U/S the other day to check on them and there was 8, can u believe it. All small and shouldnt interfere with implant..well so they say..
