Kel: Great numbers! Fingers crossed OHSS stays away

Sara: Best of luck for Sunday

Buliej: I am sure 'thrilled' is an understatement, so happy for you

CP: Just remember, you only need 1 to make you a mummy

Re Ms Singer, how terribly sad for her to be burdened with such ignorance and stupidity . Her comment on ICSI being 'faulty sperm from infertile men' just goes to show how very little she knows about the subject. People like that don't deserve to be able to make us angry or upset (even though she has), she is mearly a pimple on the butt of the world, that needs to be squeezed until her head explodes.

Thanks for your good wishes girls, had EPU this morning and spent most of time sleeping afterwards...only got 6 eggs this round which is expected from the number of follicles, I think 4 of them are mature...will see how fert report go tomorrow...so far it seems antagonist cycle produced less eggs than down-reg for me, but will see the end result before any conclusion made.

In a bit of pain still, so trying to distract myself with some dvds...

Hi Cuddlepie - well, now it is in the lap of the Gods . Remember the mantra - quality not quantity and our BB friend Julie is living proof Hope you have some great DVD's to distract you and are not feeling too uncomfortable. Looking forward to hearing your fertilisation results

CP - rest up. we are all with you hoping that all 4 eggies to fertilize and grow. Can you refresh my memory - on what day do they do the PGD testing? and then how long until you find the results? and then when will the transfer be? I don't mean to be nosy but want to know when the key milestones are for you. And remember, it does only take 1 good egg.

I am not doing PGD especially the numbers of eggs this cycle, its just hard for me to leave this thread really I just feel too comfortable here I guess... We always do Day 5 transfer, so it will be Thursday. I don't have any expectation ATM, it works well this morning, I wasn't even sad given its the lowest number of eggs I've got...

And it seems the hardest thing for me is to get embie stick, so far, I only ever had one pregnancy, even my embies are star performers, they just don't stick around, I am not sure whether its implantation problem or what...

Pain is eased now, but 'The Women' (dvd) is just plain boring and predicable and very B grade, watch out! I should have got Bond movie in the first place, at least it guarantees action, blond and some sex....

I like this thread too even though I decided not to do PGD - how can I with 1 egg? Have you had any testing done - I'm referring to the tests they do to related to implementation success. There's a really good thread on this somewhere on bellybelly. I heard The Women wasn't good - but the latest Bond movie wasn't that good either. If you feel like going to the movies, Duplicity is entertaining and great eye candy.

This morning's fertlization report - out of the 4 mature eggs, 3 fertilized. I don't have much expectation ATM but trying to think positive, especially thinking of the living proof Julie, only got two eggs and look at you now, pregnant! That just gave me so much hope!

DH and I are talking about if this cycle is not successful, we will do some test on implantation. We also weight up the pros and cons and decided to do fresh transfer rather than freeze and FET. Realistically, I will be lucky to have 1 blasties out of this cycle, there is no point to go through freeze and thaw and taking that risk is it? Although I don't have high hope on Fresh transfer (had 3 fresh TF, never worked), just have to bite the bullet...at least I will save $660 freezing fee, here is some silver lining...:-)

Sara, I am thinking of you, I think you are having your first u/s either today or Monday, I hope you will see decent number of follicles and can keep going for this cycle....
