Don't have official results yet but sonographer told me I have an army of follies. Not sure if that's a good thing due to my last cycle overstimulating. Most of the viable follies are 10mm at the biggest so that is good, they seem to be growing at the same rate. The rest are under 5mm and may not come to the party. She even asked me if I had pocs!! Totally freaked me out.
Will get instructions on when to start orgalutran tomorrow.

AFM - So, its not official just yet but I am in my 2ww!!!!!! ET will be done at 5pm this afternoon. AND for the best news EVER.................... The 2 embryos that were tested for DH's nasty gene turned out all clear. They have been given a 99% clear of the gene and a 95% clear of the gene. OMG I couldnt believe it. You know the best part though, the Nurse was so excited hehehe. So will leave work here at 4.30pm and head on over to the clinic. :) :) :). I cant stop smiling. This means we also have a spare. Hmmm need to remind myself though that there are still hurdles we need to jump before complete success.

AFM- nurse called, have to up my FSH to 200u. Start orgalutran tomoz.

Motherhood-both of them uneffected that is great to start with good numbers and only end up with two but they are both fine you cant ask for better than that.

WELL IT WORKED!!!I don't know if it was the vitex or the diet change but my E2 went down to 187 and my FSH is 10 so i start my injections in the morning WHOOHOOOOO! I wont get my hopes up to high the cycle can still be cancelled at any time but finally i can start TTC my baby

Started my orgalutran tonight and have had a huge superficial reaction. Sooo itchy and red. Will quiz nurse tomorrow after US.

just one more question what level of puregon did you start on i am on 200IU
I started on 125. Which is low because of my overstimulation last time. But I'm on 200 now, US in 2 hours so I'll see if the increase is working.
Rash was gone in about an hour so I'm not too worried now.

I started on 375 Puregon!!!!! Then I was upped to 450!!!!!!
Jaki-how did your u/s go today?
I had my 1st injection this morning it diddn't hurt at all i hardly felt it.
It's was good. Not much change they are just getting bigger. Have another on Friday morning and I'm really hopeing to get called down to Sydney after that.
Starting to bloat up, my jeans are getting tight. Lol
glad your injection went well. The orgalutran hurts more that the pen. Mine are starting to get sore. Where are you injecting?

In my belly on the side i have to have a BT fri morning because i take my injections in the morning i forgot to ask do i still take fridays one and then do the BT and wait for the results
Yes I would have it as usual, I try to have it at same time each day. If your confused about Friday call the nurse tomorrow.
Thanks jaki i had my 2nd injection this morning and have a big bruise i must have nicked a vain anyway i have felt slight niggling in my ovaries like a very light dull ache is that normal so soon it is not painful at all i can just notice it.
Good to hear your going well crossing my fingers you get to go ahead for your trip to sydney then it will all happen for you.

I think it's normal, you will feel changes in that area. I'm at the point now I can't sit too long cause it's squashing my ovaries. But I can still sleep on my tummy so far which is good cause last time I was way to big.
Looking forward to my US in the morning. Good luck with your BT, do you know when you will have an US?

As I can see from your posts, things are moving along in the right direction for the both of you. FX for you both.
Well after the ET late Monday got some aching type feeling down in the lower abdomen region from about Tuesday until Wednesday. Woke up yesterday feeling a little less pain and then today, nothing really at all. Dont know that to think about it all. Maybe it was my booster pregnyl injection which I took Tues night that brought on those symptoms. Up until today, I still had tender breasts but then today, that too has faded away. Mind you I know for a fact that when AF would visit many times before I never had any symptoms such as cramping or headaches or sore bb's so Im trying to assure myself and keep myself positive. That said though, Wed arvo felt a little Hmmm might be sick and then again Wed night when getting into bed and yesterday morning wasnt so good either and now that I think about it, having just had breaky, i could be sick again. Even when I was eating it it just didnt taste right. So yeah lots to think about which is killing me. Oh and no spotting either. We will just have to wait until next tues for the first BT and hope that it shows good things leading in the right direction. Then we will be away in Fiji and then have a follow up BT on the 26/11/09.
Heaps of praying going on here thats for sure.

I have heard the pregnyl can give you mixed symptems, im still not sure if it was that injection or the overstim that made me so sick last time as i felt good until the day after i had it. Im quite worried about having it this time.

Ok my E2 is 907 and i have to start orgalutan tomorrow on day 4 of stimming so now i am worried isn't that a bit early in the cycle
Not sure, i started on day 6.
Not that i know anything about my levels or even what my bloods are because im never told. They didnt even bother calling with my results today and after 3hrs of watching the phone i rang them. By that stage of course i was in a right mood. Even tho i knew from my scan i wasnt ready cause my follies are all less that 17mm a phone call would be nice. I swear if i dont get an ET this time im thru with SIVF.
The nurse assures me the FS says im going well and all is good but this 'short cycle' is starting to feel really bloody long. And im over it, i havent seen my husband in 3 weeks!!! Im all alone. Ive cried all afternoon for no particular reason. Nice to see the hormones are kicking in.
Aww jaki you poor thing you will get there it wont be long now i was on another thread and one lady started orgalutran on day 5 and she is pregnant so i feel ok but i will feel better after my BT and U/S monday.
Hey girls how is everyones weekend going i have been doing a lot of reading on other forums and one lady replied to my post and told me her E2 level on day 3 of stimming was 1300 and she started orgalutran on day 5 so i feel better i am on cycle day 6 but it is day 4 of stimming not sure what day you started you orgalutran jaki you said day 6 is that day 6 of cycle or day 6 of puregon injections anyway i an feeling bloated and cant do up my pants without it being uncomfortable i am still getting period type ache in my ovaries but not painful i just hope it is all going good in there i also read somtimes FS start orgalutran early as it helps keep E2 levels from going to high to quick so hope that helps.
Ummm, I had my BT on a weds but started FSH on the Thursday as I can't get same day blood results. Then started orgalutran on the tues, so day 6 of stimming. I don't really understand to much about levels and stuff, and like I said I'm never told what they are or explained what they mean. You must ask more questions than me cause I imagin we have the same nurses. I tried asking questions once to the one starting with S, but she got all short and annoyed with me so now I Just shut up and do what I'm told.
Good luck with your u/s tomoz! Sounds like your coming along well by your trouser situation. Lol.

Morning All,
Quick one from me this morning. Hope we all had a fantastic weekend and were able to relax a little and have our minds off TTC!!!
Well one more sleep for us here. Have out BT tomorrow morning at 7am. It is being done 2 days earlier though (should of been done Thurs Morning) because were off to Fiji Wed morning for a holiday YAY! We will see though hey. Dont know what to expect. Obviously we want a positive. When we come back though, we will have to have a follow up BT which im assuming is a formality.
Havent had any spotting etc have had a few aches etc on and off and Fri night and most of Sat, felt nausea all day. Nothing in particular would set me off just felt nausea thats all. Oh and still have a tight sort of feeling in my uterus area. Am hoping that this is a good thing.
Will have to try and stay positive and wait and see. Is killing me though!!! Will be sure to update you lovely ladies. My FX for you both as well.

So my EPU is 9am weds. Just had my last FSH and Orgal injections and i trigger at 9 tonight. Fly into Sydney tomoz. The biggest stress is finding a hotel, Wotif is sold out something crazy at the moment!

Hi girls good luck motherhood i bet it will be a BFP for you and jaki trigger tonight awsome not long now and you will be in the tww as for me i am so tired have worked some late nights and had to be up early for BT and U/S but i got todays results my E2 is 3005 so still a little high but ok to continue i have 21 follicles which is good but only 7 or 8 of those are big enough to to make it to EPU if i'm lucky one or two more might catch up in time but they doubt it as the others are getting quite big anyway have to have another BT and U/S wed to see whats happening so i am happy all is going well i would have liked more bigger follicles as we need a lot of eggs for testing how many good size follies did you have jaki i know you said 30 all up i have 21 but they only want the big ones i was a bit disapointed at 7-8
That's not to bad ferrals. It is your first u/s too. Although I'm not impressed I had to have 4!
Like I said they never tell me any results in detail, I don't know how you get so much info out of them. All I know is from the u/s report I took out if the films envelope, I have 35 follies, some big, lots medium and small.
I must say I'm not impressed with the lack of personal attention from FS. Last time she rang me at least once, and this time nothing! I haven't actually spoken to her since febuary. The most contact I've had In the last few months is a couple of replys to my emails.
Jaki-what do you mean you only 4 is that 4 on your 1st U/S or 4 big enough to have mature eggs you have like 30 follies i thought you would have heaps.

Just got a call from the Nurse who advised me that I will definately need to go in for a follow up blood test when we return from Fiji!!!
FS is happy with where things are at today. Nurse advised that there are pregnancy hormones there and they want to see them increase and double etc, etc. When I asked she told me I was on 27!!!!!! :o
Worst part is though, TMI warning, today when I have been to the toilet a couple of times, I have noticed blood. Not much really. So dont know what to think. Am disapointed really.
Best be off. Need to finish packing for tomorrow as we fly out at 8.30am.

Hey girls just a quick one had U/S this morning i have 18 big follicles now 12 of those are good size the U/S lady said i stimulate reaaaaaly well and i she asked if i normally ovulate early i said yes and she said she can tell im ready to pop but i will wait and see what the FS say's and god i hope my estrogen is behaving.
Jaki- how are you what is happening have you had EPU yet?
Motherhood-praying for your BFP.
Results are in E2 is perfect at 6000 and i have 18 follies 7 are great and the other 11 are almost there the FS said she thinks another 4 will make it by the time i have EPU so i will hopfully have 10 or 11 she said i am a text book stimulater and everything is prefect hope it continues
17 big fat googie eggs!!!! Gotta be happy with that.
In a bit more pain this time round. Ah well.

17 holy cow i'm hoping to get 10 i have BT and U/S friday they are looking at triggering me sat night EPU monday morning depending on fri U/S
Fair few hay. Lol. I'm just praying a good number of them fertilise. One step at a time.
I'm really happy my FS has given me an alternative to the pregnyl so fingers crossed I don't get sick again!

what does the pregnyl do to you do they give it to everyone who does ivf?
Not everyone, and I'm sure it doesn't have a bad effect on everyone. We aren't sure if it was the overstim or the pregnyl that made me so sick but I felt fine till I had it so FS is going to skip it just incase. I'm having vaginal gel and estrogen tabs instead.
Can i ask a question i am still a little worried over my E2 levels today was 6000 so they have doubled since monday i have read anything over 10,000 at EPU they worry about OHSS i am due to trigger sat night so if my levels double again in the next 2 days that will be 12,000 what was your level at trigger and does the E2 level still rise after EPU.
