Hi girls good luck motherhood i bet it will be a BFP for you and jaki trigger tonight awsome not long now and you will be in the tww as for me i am so tired have worked some late nights and had to be up early for BT and U/S but i got todays results my E2 is 3005 so still a little high but ok to continue i have 21 follicles which is good but only 7 or 8 of those are big enough to to make it to EPU if i'm lucky one or two more might catch up in time but they doubt it as the others are getting quite big anyway have to have another BT and U/S wed to see whats happening so i am happy all is going well i would have liked more bigger follicles as we need a lot of eggs for testing how many good size follies did you have jaki i know you said 30 all up i have 21 but they only want the big ones i was a bit disapointed at 7-8
That's not to bad ferrals. It is your first u/s too. Although I'm not impressed I had to have 4!
Like I said they never tell me any results in detail, I don't know how you get so much info out of them. All I know is from the u/s report I took out if the films envelope, I have 35 follies, some big, lots medium and small.
I must say I'm not impressed with the lack of personal attention from FS. Last time she rang me at least once, and this time nothing! I haven't actually spoken to her since febuary. The most contact I've had In the last few months is a couple of replys to my emails.
Jaki-what do you mean you only 4 is that 4 on your 1st U/S or 4 big enough to have mature eggs you have like 30 follies i thought you would have heaps.
Just got a call from the Nurse who advised me that I will definately need to go in for a follow up blood test when we return from Fiji!!!
FS is happy with where things are at today. Nurse advised that there are pregnancy hormones there and they want to see them increase and double etc, etc. When I asked she told me I was on 27!!!!!!
Worst part is though, TMI warning, today when I have been to the toilet a couple of times, I have noticed blood. Not much really. So dont know what to think. Am disapointed really.
Best be off. Need to finish packing for tomorrow as we fly out at 8.30am.

Hey girls just a quick one had U/S this morning i have 18 big follicles now 12 of those are good size the U/S lady said i stimulate reaaaaaly well and i she asked if i normally ovulate early i said yes and she said she can tell im ready to pop but i will wait and see what the FS say's and god i hope my estrogen is behaving.
Jaki- how are you what is happening have you had EPU yet?

Results are in E2 is perfect at 6000 and i have 18 follies 7 are great and the other 11 are almost there the FS said she thinks another 4 will make it by the time i have EPU so i will hopfully have 10 or 11 she said i am a text book stimulater and everything is prefect hope it continues

Fair few hay. Lol. I'm just praying a good number of them fertilise. One step at a time.
I'm really happy my FS has given me an alternative to the pregnyl so fingers crossed I don't get sick again!

Not everyone, and I'm sure it doesn't have a bad effect on everyone. We aren't sure if it was the overstim or the pregnyl that made me so sick but I felt fine till I had it so FS is going to skip it just incase. I'm having vaginal gel and estrogen tabs instead.
Can i ask a question i am still a little worried over my E2 levels today was 6000 so they have doubled since monday i have read anything over 10,000 at EPU they worry about OHSS i am due to trigger sat night so if my levels double again in the next 2 days that will be 12,000 what was your level at trigger and does the E2 level still rise after EPU.
Honestly I have no idea! Like I said they never told me anything other than all's well.
As for after epu, I presume it still rises. Fs commented today they need our overies to keep pumping out the hormones to help et stick.
Try not to worrie too much.

Fertilisation update....
Out of the 17 eggs, 11 were mature enough for sperm injection, out of that 11 we have 9 embies that fertalised normally!!!!
I'm so happy and can now enjoy myself in Sydney. Next update is sat.
Today I feel quite well and am out and about. Went shopping at bondi junction. Now I'm ready for a nanna nap.

Hey jaki that is great 9 is a good number i am surprised you are up and about how did your EPU go was it painful did you get sick from the sedative i have a sensitivity to anesthetic i throw up for hours afterwards so i am not looking forward to it even the anti nausea medications dont work anyway i have my last BT and U/S tomorrow then they let me know ny trigger day and time hopfully sat night and EPU monday morning i will let you know anyway enjoy sydney i will be down there hopfully monday morning for EPU if i wasnt going to be sick afterwards i say we could meet up for u cuppa (dacafe) but i am expecting to have my head in a bucket all the way home LOL,
Umm, you will be in pain but the only drugs you should have is a wee bit of pethadine. Unless your going under. The epu doesn't hurt but it feels uncomfortable. And embaressing but our fs makes you feel right at home. And the nurse & scientist in the room are awesome too. The worst part is the worried look on hubbys face.
I may be monday too I'm hoping for my et!!

Hey jaki i am alergic to pethadine so that is out for me and i had my BT and U/S today and it was great news i now have 18 follies all good size they said 12 of them are between 17mm and 22mm and the others are 14mm to 16mm so they want me to still do one more puregon injection and orgalutran injection tomorrow to try and get those last few a bit bigger then i have to be in sydney at 7am tomorrow morning for BT and U/S as they are not open on saturdays up here so have to go to them then those results will tell me if i trigger saturday night or sunday night the FS said i have a lovely pair of ovaries full of good follicles and my E2 is level is 9000 so it is perfect at the moment i am starting to get excited that this just might work out ok.
