    Hi All,

Two healthy embryos, one implanted. Now to keep everything crossed and watered for two weeks.

    How is everyone else?

Well done sweetie, I've been dying to read that all day!!! Sending lots of good "burrowing" vibes to that little embryo!!!

Now words with that emby's mum - Jess, you rest up, keep up the water, try to keep the stress down and stay positive! All things I was terrible at but I am sure you will be better!!!!

    IVF with PGD #8

Ladies if I may ask a question or ten?
Is PGD only available if proceeding with IVF?
Did you pay for it? If so how much?
Did you have to see a fertility specialist to get the testing done or GP/OB?
What circumstances led you to have PGD?

I'm just investigating/preparing, I think we may get referred.

    Hi MLR1901

Hope you are OK -sorry you find yourself thinking about PGD.
    In answer to your questions:
Is PGD only available if proceeding with IVF? yes, it is embryos that are tested
Did you pay for it? If so how much? lots.... I am with the big IVF linic starting with "g", their costs on the website are quite accurate.
Did you have to see a fertility specialist to get the testing done or GP/OB? Yep, as it's embies that are tested
What circumstances led you to have PGD? My hubby has a genetic disorder we are avoiding passing on to our bubs.

Good luck sweets, and feel free to ask more questions.

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing weekend. About to have a massage and sleep the night away ).

MLR1901 - welcome to a new journey in your life. I only discovered this website recently and it is the best thing to help along the way.

Bright*future answered all of your questions. Always feel free to ask more. We are doing IVF PGD to prevent passing on a genetic condition I carry. It is a very easy decision to make when you want to have healthy babies.

    Hey bf,

Going slowly insane but work is so busy it's distracting.

Family dinner tonight and dinner with a gf tomorrow night will also help pass the time quicker.

Thank you for checking in. Hopefully I will have exciting news on Sunday.

    Hey Ladies,

Not doing a pregnancy test at this stage. Just trying to focus on relaxing, happy, baby growing thoughts.

Feeling okay, eating a lot, one tear up and a little moodiness but nothing unusual ).

    How is everyone else going?

    Hey ladies,

    How are you?

I am like a cat on a hot tin roof. So anxious for Sunday. Last time I had an implant the same time in the process tomorrow I started bleeding. Trying to stay relaxed and focused on my happy thoughts but I have no idea what I am going to do with myself tomorrow to distract myself.

Fingers crossed for a good nights sleep to start with.
