Jbear: good luck with the transfer :) so you had 8 that were ok for biopsy ? How did you get from 8 to the 2 ? Sorry if I missed that somewhere

Thanks minniemouse unfortunately the rest that were biopsied were unbalanced. I'm just counting my lucky stars that I have at least one.

JBear - we love you too :) So glad you've got an emby to transfer and sending you every sticky vibe. How are you feeling? All recovered from the EPU?

Minnie - how are you going? That is a lot of follies, are you feeling bloated? When are you triggering? The trigger is so exciting!

AFM - no more blood tests! Scan two weeks today and GP next Wednesday. I think I'll ask the GP to do another HCG since I think I'll have to have bloods taken anyway, and it will set my mind at ease a bit (or give me something else to obsess over). I'm feeling pretty OK, very tired and sick feelings come and go. Sore boobs kicked in yesterday. Thanks for thinking of me :)

Hey BF I'm feeling pretty good now thanks. Had transfer today with my one good lil egg : ) then had acu straight after. Trying not to obsess too much now and just focus on being healthy! So yay for no more BT for u and is ur scan at 5 or 6 weeks? I hope this preggo symptoms don't effect u too much x

BF - great news. Congratulations!!!

Just wish I knew already. Not sure if I want to POAS as it might still be a bit early and I'm not sure if I am ready to see a BFN! Haven't heard from the clinic to see when I can go and get a BT so I might just have to obsess a little longer over the weekend and give them a call on Monday. Belly is working overtime, just won't settle and have been getting a bit faint at times. No sore boobies yet which I had with DD but it still might be a bit early for that.

BF: its hard not to obsess isn't it, sounds like you are experiencing some positive signs :)

joe: how many dpt are you now ?

afm: i got some period type pains today and spoke to my clinic, they want me to come in for another blood test and scan tomorrow, thought i was done with those but i guess it won't hurt to have another look around. im feeling a fair bit of discomfort but im taking it really easy.
looking forward to that trigger and then there is no turning back !

Joe i would call to book your BT if they haven't called you yet. FX for you, how are you feeling? It's such an anxious TWW isn't it! At Acu the other day I was told not to think about pregnancy or babies for the next 2 weeks, now really?? that's impossible.

Minniemouse you must be feeling like your ovaries are the size of melons with all those follies in there! I hope that pain eases and EPU is not too far away now :)

AFM - Just at home I got the DR to give me two days off so i could relax for four days, last two cycles it was non stop and I realise after all the hormones and pressure i'm putting on my body I should just take this time to relax and rest a little.

so apparently the wait got a bit too much for me so I called the clinic and I get to BT tomorrow! Still can't bring myself to POAS yet though but now at 7dpt would probably get a result. Feeling positive though :pray:

I had a bit of spotting overnight, freaking out a little & just waiting until a decent hour before I call the nurses. :(

Jbear: good you have a few extra days off work to relax. My ovaries are feeling pretty big, when the women did the scan yesterday she kept saying your left ovary is busy VERY busy !! Funny thing is they feel equally uncomfortable & the right only has about 5 & left has 20+ !

Things seem to be OK for me at the moment, another stage of implantation is what it could be... Praying a million prayers that tomorrow morning doesn't have any surprises for me.

JBear - guess who is next?? :) I can't remember about the crinone but I have a feeling it was a day or so after the EPU, I can't imagine sticking the crinone up there the same day!! Youch!!

I'm fine now, lots of symptoms back last night and no spotting this morning, feeling confident again.

I hope you don't mind me popping in here (I kind of feel like I'm intruding) - I have been reading some of the posts in this thread and now think it is probably a good time to introduce myself! I am so happy to find a place with a group specifically going through IVF with PGD. So many things about this whole process make me anxious and I find myself googling random things all the time (that's how I found this thread!). During the feasibility testing period, I was going crazy trying to work out when we would have our answer. Now, we have our answer and I find myself staring at the calendar trying to guess what will be happening when... Hopefully I'm not on my own here?!:wall:

My story in a nutshell - I am a SAHM; I have a 6 year-old daughter with a genetic disease. My husband and I are now embarking on our IVF/PGD journey to conceive a healthy little baby *fingers crossed*.

Congratulations to all of you with exciting news!! It looks like there have been a few BFPs around here lately.:D So nice to see!

hi everyone,

a quick post, i was disappointed at egg collection to only get 6 eggs from all those follicles, 4 have fertilised and i will find out tomorrow what has made it to day 3 for biopsy. its been a very stressful week as my 4 year old developed gastro the night before egg collection and we had to take him with us, poor boy was vomiting in the car and all, it was awful, he ended up in hospital because of it yesterday

how is everyone else going ?

Welcome Elle. sorry that you find yourself here but at least you have our support here. The endless searching and waiting, obsessing, stressing sounds all too familiar. Unfortunately that doesn't end but at least here you can ask real people who know what your going through.

Minniemouse i'm sorry you didn't get bigger numbers considering how big those follies were, i prob had the biggest follies out of all three cycles but the least eggs so i know how you feel. But I hope that there is at least one golden egg that makes it all the way for you and is healthy and strong. :comfort: That sounds like a stressful day, I hope your lil one is ok now? Keep us posted on how you go. x

AFM no POA I'm not sure if I should and if so when? I have remained fairly calm and tried not to think about it too much so if i POA i think i could go bonkers! Haa haa maybe i'm already bonkers.

J.Bear - I would have already POAS if I were you and about now I would be driving myself insane questioning the result, I'm sure. If you can, I reckon it's probably better for your sanity to wait, haha!

Jbear: i heard from the scientists today, in the end 5 out of the 6 embryos fertilised, they told me on tuesday that one was slow so i chose not to even think about that one and just focused on the 4 we had which did it in the time they should. All 4 made it to day 3 and were biopsied this morning, now we wait some more to see what we get. i hate that i won't know what we have until i turn up for transfer and be told :(

my poor little boy still isn't well but he isn't vomiting anymore, im just hoping i don't get it. Thanks for asking after him :hug:

forgot to say i start pregnyl tonight and then i have 2 more doses, i think it will rule me out of POAS this cycle which stresses me out, i can't just wait for the blood test and have them tell me !!

Hey Minnie any news on those 4 embies? I hope they are all good healthy ones.

I just realized u said that u won't find out until the day of trf? How can they keep u in such suspense!

Jbear: I'm about to go into the clinic, I feel so sick to my stomach I'm so nervous. The results should be in in about 15 mins & transfer is scheduled for 45mins time if there is something to transfer. The scientist said its better to tell you the news in person, I said only if it's good news !! I'd prefer a text message !

Not good news, all 4 embryos are abnormal so no transfer for me today :(

To look at the embryos they look great, 2 were hatching blasts, 1 a blast & 1 a morula, the fs said if he was just looking at them he would have transferred one back & frozen another 2, so it's better to know even though I'm devastated :(

Just sneaking in to tell Minnie how sorry I am that none of your embies were okay to transfer :(

I can't imagine how disappointed you must be.

I think, as MissB said, it's a wake up call to all of us IVFers, that an embie can look "perfect" but not be at all. It just sucks.
