IVF and TAX

I have sent my claim off to the ato hun - with all my bits and bobs - I will let you know how I go

Just thought i would ask about how it all works when medicare is calendar year and tax is obviously not!

I turned my medicare which is a calander year into a tax finacial year

Simply by claiming all ivf stuff from the 01/07/08 to the 30/06/09 in the tax return

I will save all the meds etc from the 01/07/09 to claim in next years return

Have a enveloped folder and save every single receipt even if it seems like nothing special

I just received my return today

the medicare tax statement they print you will be financial year so it all works out in the end.....
