    Another Chemical??

    Hi Girls

Just looking for anyone who knows of success with Dr Gavin Sacks. We just did our first cycle with him, travelling from qld to Sydney for our EPU and ET. My BT was not due until Thursday but I did a HPT on Saturday (5dp5dt) which came up + but by Sunday evening I was bleeding. I went for a BT this morning just to see what the HCG will be.

Our problem is not getting blasts but getting them to stick. I was on 25mg pred and 20mg clexane but I believe it will be a chemical again.

Dr Sacks said it may take up to three cycles to work but would love to hear some success stories to keep us going. Hopefully we will be able to do our next FET straight away.

    Cheers Trea

trea:sorry i personally have no success stories on IVF but there is a whole section on success stories in the LTTC threads. maybe you might find some answers there.
    good luck and welcome

Got my BT results and my HCG is 46. So I guess not a chemical, the HPT was right.

I have to have another on Friday to check it. Sounds strange I know, but I am actually happy as this is the best result I have ever gotten and at least instead of having a chemical we had a pregnancy, albeit one that miscarried. We have never had a reading of over 20 so at least I know something is changing and we are getting somewhere.

Trea- glad you can find a positive in this, and hoping next time you get a pregnancy and it sticks around!

JBM- great news, glad you have a plan and meeting with FS went well

Bec- sending you all the best, glad you are remaining busy and doing well, I am sure it's hard waiting for a donor

afm- waiting for next blood results, but keeping busy at work and planning our holiday coming up, so doing ok at the moment. sorry i am not online too much just now, have been busy, but checking in when i can

possums: glad all is going well for you and you're keeping busy. it's fun planning a holiday, almost as much fun as the holiday itself. hope you get some good blood results back, fingers crossed. x o

trea: it is good to look on the bright side and at leat you know you can get preg now. keep being positive. x o

you guys need to read the article about gluten free in the natural remedies section. BB put the article on there and is very interesting reading for LTTCers.

AFM: i am just feeling good, relaxed and ready to start all over again. come on april, i want to start now.
