Megan - hoping you are getting some space in your head while you are away

PP, we had about a month in between the two appointments - mainly through the delay of trying to get a hycosy done. I've got no real idea of exactly when the BT results would have come in, though, we didn't actually get any results until we went for the second appointment. I can't imagine that it would be more than a few days, though.

It's Monday morning and I am SOOO not awake! And neither are my students!

Definitely two. Don't really want to have one left in case it doesn't thaw.

Good luck with your new cycle!

It's amazing how things can change so rapidly...

Monday I wasn't cycling. Monday night we changed our minds. Tuesday we booked in for our next FET. Today I went for my first blood test. Looks like my body's decided to ovulate early, so I'll probably have a transfer date booked by the end of the week.

    My head is still spinning!

Shannon, Slyder, BG - Lets hope there's a lot of luck with FETs coming up very soon!

    BW!

Transfer booked by the end of the week? That quick? my head is spining now let alone yours. How did you get that rolling faster than mine (after diligently jabbing myself for about 3 weeks)? I feel cheated your queue jumper... oh well, to keep up our tradition, you are a few days earlier than me so that makes sense...

BTW, EPU is tomorrow at 730am, nice and early! I will try not to talk this time as last time I can't hardly get a whole sentence out of my mouth, makes me sound I had way too much to drink...Wish me luck!

Sorry to butting in this thread ladies and gent(s)...I have a feeling that there will be more posts from me soon...if you let me...

BeiBei, you are most definitely welcome here!

As for mu jumping the queue - doesn't look like it's happening! I have to go back for another blood test tomorrow morning. I'm a bit worried, as last time I had three consecutive days of blood tests at the clinic I fell in a screaming heap on the third day and then didn't make it back to work for another three weeks! (why spoil a good story with the hyperstimulation facts! ) Soon... the weekend! SLEEP!!!!

Oh your poor babe...two days in a row is as much as I can take...don't worry, you will still be able to make it before me, my transfer will be next Wednesday, surely snow bub will be snuggled in your tummy by then...weekend will do you some good, sleep is the most beautiful thing in the world I reckon. (I was born Year of the Pig, so that is hardly a surprise...)

    HI Everyone

Hope everything is going well with everyone in here -

Bei Bei - Good Luck for tomorrow!!! xxx
BW - I really need to get in and read your journal - Hoping that everything is perfect for you to go ahead with transfer xxx
BG - Hows the pill, on the home stretch now?!!!
Shannon - Yay, hoping this one is the one for you!
Slyder - Hope DW is doing great xxx

    Big Hi to everyone else!

Me - Well, I went and had all of my BT done today that Dr S ordered - 15 vials!!!!
The ladt doing it just kept saying "God" when she kept going out to get the vials.. and then ran out of labels

She assured me I would be ok - after telling me that I needed to let her know if I was starting to feel faint asap when she was taking the blood....

I got through it ok - felt extremely light headed afterwards (one of the nurses joked that I would be needing a blood transfusion - afterwards I was thinking I was probably not that far off it )

Whilst she was taking the blood though, she said "Oh, Dr S, you'll be so happy with him, he's a brilliant FS!"

Seems our Dr S is famous everywhere
She was telling me about a lady that had come in for a BT last month - after 5 yrs of IVF, this lady saw him and is now pregnant.. so thats encouraging! (especially considering we live on the coast, and not in Sydney!)
She told me she always thought it was important to share positive IVF stories to help us stay positive - so that was nice

    Hope everyone is doing great

wow Holly that was so nice to read your post regarding your nurse that you had taking your bood - not the experience though!!

I was lucky i only needed 7 vials as most of the immune test i had already had done in Melbourne two years ago

im loving the T i bought while i was staying with you and will have to order some more already!!

Im still waiting to get all my results back and will call his rooms on Monday if not then i will email him

I posted in another thread that i don't know what to do with our next treatment with regards to seeing DR S for TF or getting my FS to follow DR S guidelines for cycle still hoping to hear of any one on here that DR S has treated interstate??????

Hope every one else is going well

Holly, 15 vials, are you serious? I feel lightheaded just reading your story! So there is a worse place than my work (yes, my client not only want splendid presentation and strategy but also a vial of my blood every time we have a meeting)...drink a lot of water or eat some beatroot (weird hey my mum always say it will restore your blood)

Glad to hear some positive feedback on your FS though, great confidence boost, it will be all worth it in the end hun!

Holly, I had a similar number of vials taken for Dr S's tests - fasting blood tests, no less! I was seriously wobbly for most of the day afterwards.

BeiBei, it's at least a week before my transfer - we've got blasties in the freezer again, so they go in 6 days after ovulation. If I surge tomorrow, we'll transfer next Friday, as ovulation will be Saturday... I've got a bad feeling my body is playing silly buggers, though.

More dramas here - our router has died. I'm online temporarily via an old dial up modem that DH found. A shared dial up connection is nowhere near as good as a shared ADSL connection! It's all a bit sad really - I guess I'm going to be fairly quiet until we get things fixed here. Can get online from work, but the dial up costs with our ISP are pretty horrendous.

Must go crash... sodding 5am starts!

Got you BW, its seems I lost a bit touch of the whole thing...too much blood has been taken from me I blame...so I will be ahead of you a couple of days then...hope your body soon will be behaving itself

Tomorrow 5am? You are not alone hun, I will be thinking of you when alarm goes off...

Time for bed is a good idea.

Ladies, just an update on me about EPU today...

All went well and again I was impressed by my FS he is so caring, I was home by 10am. Currently on drugs somehow feel slight more tenderness than last time but it is manageable...

I was a bit disappointed about the results though. Last time I had 15 eggs collected and ended up with two 5day embies (which was a big drop off). And this time I only got 8 eggs and I am wondering what I will be end up with...

Although both FS and nurses reassured me that the quality of the eggs are very good and less doesn't mean it won't produce good result. I think they are just trying to be nice.

Anyway, like I said in my signature, I have to leave everything in fate's hand, sometimes I think maybe I am trying too hard.

BW, how is the b/t today? surged yet?

Hope everyone is doing great and happy Friday!!

I have a surge! I'm also typing away while the hot water system is being replaced. Let me tell you that the cold shower at 5:30 was a most unpleasant way to start the day! My usual road to work is still cut, but we can get around. Still have to limp along with dial up... but I no longer have to get up at 5am!

Surge today, ovulate tomorrow, having a blast transferred, so you can probably figure out the day of the FET, but I'm not going to spell it out!

BeiBei, I hope the quality of your eggs surprises you and you get some fantastic blasties out of this cycle. One for now, a few for siblings later on
