    Silly question....

Hi ladies, im am just having a bad hormone day and seem to have my head stuck on the whole follicle size importance.
Last time i had lots of huge follies, but overstimed and got 11 crap quality eggs.
This time i am doing a 'short cycle' and it seems to be taking forever! Im in day 9 i have an army of follies again, sized 17mm and under. Im having a 4th u/s on mon!! Im so scared my FS is going to overbake them.
So my question is..... does anyone remember the size of their follies b4 they were to trigger? And how was the quality of say big ones verse smaller ones.
    Thanx

Jaki- i have read they have to be about 20mm to 22mm to trigger.

Ok, I did 7 days of injections (i think) 150 puregon, after 3 months of synarel sniffing.
The last u/s we had before trigger, showed 14 follicles all between 14-18mm with the majority around 18.
We ended up with 15 follicles, 15 eggs, but were told they were a little immature. 11 fert. then over the next couple of days we lost another 2 bringing us down to 9 from the initial 15. 1 put back. froze the other 8 which we were told were perfect for freezing. DS is now 16 months old.
Goodluck with your u/s on Monday

As mentioned above, ideally they trigger around 20-22mm. I've had mine triggered anywhere between 16mm and 24mm and I've always had much the same number of eggs and embryos.
