Julie : Your new FS should have a form that you sign, that they get you to sign, then they mail or fax it to your old FS, which ask's for copies of your file, bt's, ultra's to be sent. Your "old" fs sends a copy of anything relevent in your file, and there you go.
I used to work in a doctors surgery, it is quite common
PS - When FS gives you a copy of your file (folder) to take to the nurses to book your scans, if you have a look in it, it doesn't have much info in it really. My FS types away in the computer, that's where all the juicy stuff must be, which my sister told me, is available to see under freedom of information act... Interesting
Hi Buliej,
I just recently changed FS and am about to do a FET with my new one. It was actually on the recommendation of my old FS, after 7 cycles and 5 ETs he suggested that I needed a new set of eyes and a new pair of hands to look at my 'case'. So the process was really easy for me.
I do believe however that it is quite common for woman to change FS, so there should be no hard feelings, and you are perfectly entitled to make that choice without any guilt, you don't owe your current FS anything, and if you feel you will get more out of a new FS, then go for it. As WLAB said, you just need to get the forms from you new FS.
I hope you don't need this change, that this cycle is the one, but if so, sometimes a fresh perspective will make all the difference. I am hoping it does for me too. Hugs,
