I am new to BB and am also on my first IVF cycle at Westmead. I am a bit ahead though, I have finished the Pill and have started the Synarel Nose spray and half way through the Puregon Injections. Everyone has told me (nurses friends and do-gooders) about the horrid effects of these drugs. I went for my first Ultrasound on Thursday to see how things are going and I was worried as I had none of these side effects and thought it wasn't working. Turns out it's working so well they lowered my dose and thought it was funny I was worried there were no side effects. The one thing you learn from this journey is that everyone's journey is different.
I do lots of Yoga and go to the Gym and I have also told my work and friends about what I am going through and they are so supportive. I've found having all that support actually makes the process a lot easier. Also the nurses are really great and make you feel at ease. I used to spend hours in my bedroom in tears everytime I got my AF or spent time with my nieces and nephews, but now we've taken this step I think this is the most relaxed and calm I've been through the whole infertility thing.
I've feel I've been very lucky and blessed so far in this process and I sincerely hope the same for you.
