Any 1 in 1st IVF Cycle?

    Hi Everyone,

Congratulations Blayz, I'm still in the Confusion Stage myself but your result sounds brilliant, may it continue this way for you.
Thanks for all your support everyone else, it feels great to know while I sit here befuddled I'm not alone. I still have everything set out on the spare bed (potential nursery but not at that stage yet - I wish!)) and walk in and scratch my head, feel a headache coming on and leave. If only there was one injection they could give you and that was it.
Still I'm very grateful for the chance to do this, I'm not complaining. I think all you girls who've been thru it already are amazing.

    Cheers, Sienna

    Thanks girls!!
Fi I'm PMSL, follie factory!!! Hahahahaha
Sienna I promise you it will become less over welming just focus on day by day. I felt over welmed yesterday even after my scan when I thought that YAY it is all finished, they were telling me the trigger shots and pregnyl shots and crione gel and what to eat before EPU and ET and drink and what to wash with!!! Aarrrrrr. But I sorted all thru the info and again wrote it out day by day and am feeling calmer. Hope you feel better, it helped me heaps to talk to the counciller too.

    Hi All,

I'm really just here to see how Blayz went today, nothing really to report myself except started on the Provera today. Hardly earth shattering but its a first step. I don't know what I've been expecting, a choir to strike up and sing a Hallelujah chorus while I took the pill? Who knows, not me.

    Cheers, Sienna

    Hi Everyone

We just got back from Adelaide last night, so i'll fill you in. The EPU was done on Monday with 26 eggs. We ended up with 17 fertilised. I got really sick though cause of all the eggs, i think a mild case of OHSS. Very bloated, and sore. So the transfer was put off till Thursday. I still have lots of fluid though very uncomfortable but i dont feel as sick.

Tan69 - I didn't find the gonal-f injections to be as bad as i thought they would be, so hopefully yours will go as smoothly.

Hope all goes well with your EPU blayz.

Wow Jewel 24 eggs and 17 fertilised way to go, hope you are feeling better now.
I had 10 eggs at EPU and only 2 fertilised which is very disapointing to say the least, if they survive I will have ET Monday, I really hope they are ok! i guess we wait and see til then.

    Hi all,

Balyz, good luck hun, I am sure your little eggies will be fine. I do know how you feel though, out of 7 at pick up only 1 of ours fertilized, and was implanted at 2 days.Just playing the waiting game now :|

Try not to worry too much, put your feet up and relax for the weekend and have that DH of yours treat you like a princess all weekend.

Hi Mumof5 good luck with it I hope your cycle goes well for you, it is a bit overwelming at tmes.
Wow Fi, the one that fertilised survived ok til ET, that makes me feel more positive that mine will survive. Did they give you a reason why they didnt fertilise???
I am crossing my whole body for you hun!! Good Luck.

    Hi everyone.
I havent popped in here for ages and have got a lot of catching up to do.
Fi, I'm so excited for you and have my fingers crossed for a BFP.
Blayz, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, I hope all goes well.
Emma, welcome. I totally understand what you mean when you say you are scared of being disappointed. Theres nothing like IVF to make you feel vulnerable. But I believe that all of us here will get a BFP - its just a matter of when.
Tanya, looks our timing is very similar. I am currently on day 4 of Puregon Injections - so far so good and for once I'm thankful for the bit of chub I have on my belly - the injections dont hurt at all. I'm booked in for BT and US on 25 July.
    Take care all,

    Venus
