Hi Pollyanna, No GP's cannot prescribe clomid. You will need to see an obstetrician, gynaecologist or a fertility specialist for the prescription.
Clomid is used to ensure ovulation. It can also help to shorten long and irregular cycles. It can also cause multiple eggs to be released, hence a rise in the risk of multiple pregnancy.
I feel pregnant on my 5th clomid cycle. Clomid has also helped many women on this site conceive.
Although you cannot take Agnus Castus with Clomid....definitely do not mix the two.
