clomid then FSH in the one cycle?

Hey everyone
I am currently Day 22 in my cycle which i started with 50mg of clomid day 5-9 then 100mg day 14-18 and now FSH injections day 22 until friday.
I am a little worried that i will have OHSS because i have been "loaded" up even though my estrogen levels had not changed while on clomid.

Has any one else had a similar type of experience and been successful??

Not much advice but My FS was going to give me fsh injections this cycle if I wanted but I only took clomid 100mg day 2-6.

I've opted not too as the clomid has worked in the past alone (didn't work this cycle but think that is from the m/c last cycle)

was he going to do the FSH instead of the clomid?
any one know of rates of FSH working compared to clomid?

Glorious, I've spent literally hundreds of hours reading about assisted conception over the past couple of years and I haven't heard of this protocol anywhere That's not to say it's not legit, (i have no idea) but it's definitely not common.

I haven't done it before and wasn't really keen on it so we didn't go into it too much detail, but I think it was more of ok... Clomid hasn't fully worked (i havent ovulated yet and i think im day 16?) and with FSH we can boost the follicles into overdrive to release some eggs? (lol obviously not word for word what he said!)

I *thought* it would have been done straight away so same cycle as the Clomid?
