I don't know what you have been told but I would imagine that by doing BT on cd21 it is to make sure that you have O. The synarel is to not make you pg but to make sure your hormones are lowered to a point where they could then stimulate your ovaries and make your body release the hormones as dictate by the injections so by next cycle your ovaries will produce more eggs than normal (when your hormone is lowered enough, you will get AF) and then a few days later you will have the injections. In my last stim cycle, because my hormones weren't lowered enough they had to up my synarel (which my hormone dropped pretty much dramatically after a few days). This triggered AF. sometimes our hormones P4 and E levels might not respond too well to the meds. I asked my FS why I had to have double dose of synarel with the 2nd stim cycle while in my first cycle I responded quite well. She said that it could happen because our body is always different at different times. She also raised the posibility of ovarian cysts (which produce their own hormones).
I am surprised that your Fs didnot up your synarel.
With regards to the hcg level. Some women will have some level of hcg, between 0 - 5. This is normal and does not mean you are pg. anything above this is different.
