I had the same thing happen to me my first cycle of clomid. The second cycle of the same dose (50mg) worked but no bfp. So now I'm on clomid cycle 3 still on 50mg, I'm not feeling very hopeful of ovulating at this stage. I hate playing the "wait and see what happens" game!
