First clomid cycle.....failure

Well I just spoke to my specialist and my day 21 blood test indicates that I did not ovulate this cycle. I knew this was likely the case since I have been temping and using OPKs with no obvious signs.

Dr Bowman wants me to up the clomid does to 100mg from 50mg so lets hope month 2 is more successful.

Pray for us please.

Hi Tinka

Sorry to hear that your first cycle was not successful. Like you my first cycle didn't work. I am am staying on 50mg but the days I am taking it have changed to take account of my longer cycle. Started 2nd cycle last night. Back to Dr in May (unless become pg by then). He is confident that it will only be a matter of time.

I'll keep my fingers crossed (for both of us).

I am sorry this first cycle with Clomid did not work. That same thing happen to me. Now I am on BCP to stop my cycle. I will take the last BCP on March 14 then doc says AF will start on Marc18 then on CD 3 - 7 I do Clomid 100 mg then 4 injections of Bravelle. Good Luck Tinka and I pray for us a BFP..... [-o<

Just wanted to wish you loads of luck this cycle.It took me 2 cycles to fall pregnant with my DD on clomid, but I was told the average is 4 cycles.

Oh hunny, I'm so sorry to hear that your Clomid didn't work first try. I'll keep all fingers and toes crossed that the 100mg does the trick for you.
I'm on 100mg Clomid this cycle too, after I failed to ovulate last cycle on 50mg, so I hope we end up being O buddies

I had the same thing happen to me my first cycle of clomid. The second cycle of the same dose (50mg) worked but no bfp. So now I'm on clomid cycle 3 still on 50mg, I'm not feeling very hopeful of ovulating at this stage. I hate playing the "wait and see what happens" game! I hope you have success with your second round!

Good luck with your next cycle. The Clomid stuff will mess you about physically and sometimes takes a while to kick in - but it can certainly do some magic too.

Thanks so much for the support girls.
I am on my 6th day of Provera today. Only 4 days to go then hopefully AF arrives not long after so we can start all over again.
