Hi, I have endometriosis and TTC 8yrs

    Hi,
I have repeated myself a bit finding the right forum, i think this is where i should be.
I have posted yesterday and on Intrduce yourself and guided this way which is really helpful. So without repeating myself, there is info on me there. It was lengthy, poor things that had to read it but hey, i am new at this and learning as i go. I can not understand the acronyms, where do i find a list of them to use and understand?

I Have had a rough couple of weeks but it is gettign much better. I am Aussie living in London and finding this journey a bit lonely. I ended up ringing a friend that i am not particulary (personally) close with and bursting into tears. I just couldn't hold it anymore, but i still feel like there is more there to deal with. I am just workign through it as it comes to me. He was fine about, and my wonderful hubby was at work which gutted him not to be here, but i went to bed embarressed and a bit humiliated. Don't you hate that, when you just break down and later you think, my god!!
    Anyway, thanks for listening

Leis (Firemans Girl) is especially handy on this topic - you will usually find her in the LTAC thread, but think currently she is still overseas till July???? SHe is great, though & has heaps of info..

Where are you at with everything??? Have you had any surgery, or AC?? I'm sure I will prob find all of this in your initial post, so I'll toddle off and find it now!!!!

HI Girls, Thank you so much for you words.
I don't think i have been in such a low spot in a very long time. I am usually an extremel positive person. Just finding this site has helped me from hitting the bottom of depression and i feel it getting better every day. It frightens me a bit as i believe in the law of attraction and what we think about comes about. However i have just not been in a good place and been feeling liek giving up all the time. I am really pushing myself through this if that makes sense. I had a nice email from my sister in law today which was lovely of her, asking me what we are going to do. SHe is an action girl which is great.
As for AC, no, i went for so many years working very long hours and in stressful situations. We just didn't feel right baout giving up and trying other ways until we knew we had given all we could naturally. SO i stopped working 12 months ago. Which helps but it gets very lonely hence why i found you all. I have never used a chat site before. It has already made me stronger. i have one otehr friend going through this but we are at different stages and she has unexlpained infertility and works full time. She is equally finding it difficult but i dn't feel like i can have a break down in her arms, so to speak.

8-9 years ago a had large cyst removed. They started with a laparoscopy (excuse my spelling) and couldn't get it out so they finished with a laparodomy and took the cyst out with half of one ovary. While in there, they found endo and burnt off what they could. I recovered fine but was determined never to go through that again. So i healthed up, so to speak. Stopped eating meat, eliminated some things from our diet. Left the town we were living in and the job we were working (a stressful family situation, worked with father in law) Moved and lived in Italy for 6 months before going back to OZ and settin gup our own restaurant. Had a few more haemoraging cysts over the years that i had worked through disolving naturally with out surgery. Just meditation, slowing life, visualising, diet, chiropracter and emotional healing journeys. I had my last one two months ago which was the first time in a long time that it was quite painful.

I have just had scans done when home last and they foudn substantial cyst formation which suggests endo has really set up home.
I have to duck out now but i will continue this later. I need to get the post office before it closes.
Love and wishes to you all.

    Hey Jodie

Thanks for sharing more of your story.

I know there's lots of women on BB who have had endo...who will be able to give you some great advice.

Your lifestyle change sounds amazingly courageous...and wonderful...GOOD ON YOU!

And 6 months in Italy...that's my dream!

Anyway wishing you all the best...

You may have found it already...but there is a specific post section for endo...

Oh hun dreams do come true you just have to have faith and be pos. I have endo and have had it for years. I had a DD nat and DS through IVF. Ive had 2 ectopics and am going back to TTC for my 3rd.

I am pos++ that it will happen but it can take years. My DD is 12 and DS 16 months so it took a long time. I dont think it will be that long again as I feel pos.

I wish you loads of luck hun. that it happen fast hun.
