Does your clinic get you to lie down afterwards? I had to lay down for 30 mins before I could get dressed and go home. Then when everything is done, go home, put your feet up and do nothing for the rest of the day! Just eat good food and drink plenty of water, watch a movie or 5 or read a book

Thanks so much for your lovely messages of support ladies, you are the best and I really appreciate it . They got 9 eggs which I was really happy with, as last time it was only 4, but I do know it's not the quantity but the quality. Now I will be eagerly awaiting the call tomorrow how many fertilised . I was quite sore after I woke up which hasn't happened to me before, and I had a bit of a spew for good measure! lol. xoxox

Emma, fantastic news on your embies! I would also suggest to take it really easy today, and last time I asked if I could lie there for 30 minutes after the transfer and they were OK with it GL with the remaining embies!

ooooh I am so sore and soooooo bloated! Kinda was doing OK for a while there, and now I think I over did it and I'm paying for it. Boo hoo Anyway, a quick question ladies....I am certain that in my past cycles I had to start the crinone gel on day 1 or 2 following the embie transfer. This time it says to start it on day 1 following EPU (EPU being day 0). Is that right?

Miss B - sucks that you are feeling sore and sick. Double Boo.

In my stim cycle I started crinone two days after EPU. With FET I started pessaries 5 days before transfer of a day 5 embie.

Ladies do you think it would be ok to take cold and flu tablets during a FET cycle? I have been holding out taking them but thought it might be better to take them so I'm healthy when we do the transfer. Any thoughts?

it sucks being sick when you are PUPO..... I'd take the cold and flu tablets.... it probably won't make it go away now anyway, but at least you will feel a bit more rested and relaxed prior...

(but check with the pharmacy that they are okay during pregnancy.... that's an awkward discussion I had to have once....hated it.... because I didn't want to say I was pregnant (so I didn't jinx myself), but at the same time, essentially I was.... so i just told the truth, I am doing IVF and just had an embryo transplanted... so.... what can I take..)

I was sick during both Stim cycles... i think the hormones knock you around so much that you can't fight off the infections... FX I don't have the deal with that over the next month.....
