Mrs Mac, given u dont have ur embie on board yet i dont see how it could be a problem. Like my turn, i would take the meds. If ur worried perhaps just stop taking them a day or more before transfer. Feel better soon hun.

Mrs Mac, get onto Berocca Performance asap!! The B and C vitamins will help see you right

Dont take the cold and flu tabs anywhere near transfer, especially after!!!!

LOL, my turn I was completely imagining then same conversation when I considered taking the cold and flu tablets... Um I'm not UTD yet but could be soon so what can I take? LOL.

Well thanks for the advice ladies, I think I will take some for a few days at least. I never ever get sick so I'm not dealing with it very well. I guess on the bright side, the worse part of it should be gone before transfer.

Hello ladies. They said only 4 fertilised out of 9, can't help but feel disappointed I got so excited about 9 eggs, stupid me. I can't believe more than half was either too badly fragmented or just not good enough. Just have to keep my fingers and toes crossed that the other 4 are great lil embies. So far they said they are aiming for transfer on day 5, so we'll just have to wait to see how it all goes x

Thanks girls, I should take some of my own advice, hey? I guess I'm disappointed as I really thought the acu sessions have really paid off (they probably have, just a bit hard to see it ATM) and I really thought I might get a couple more fertilized. In my first cycle I had 13 eggs and 7 fertilised (the good 'ol days) and I guess b/c I had 3 out of 4 eggs fertilised last time (none were good though), I thought out of 9 I might get 5 or 6 embies. Never mind, I guess for an old chook like me at 42 that's not bad xx

Oh miss B - chin up babe.... as long as you end up with one of two embies that are okay it's been a good harvest

Miss B - I got 17 eggs and only 2 viable ones and got one to stick. I remember thinking what would I do with 17 eggs lol. I know we crave maximum fertilised eggs but in reality we only need one (or possibly more if you want more children). If this pg goes to term (god willing) I have two on ice and then the dilema begins of what to do with them. The more you get the more you have to decide what to do with. I was also, well I am 41, how many more months can I do a cycle, I guess I only need that many more eggs. 4 is still alot to work with should they all reach blast xxx

This cycle is starting to feel like a nightmare, BT came back and my levels are still way to low and only coming up very slowly between BTs so I guess that means I'm no where near ovulating and it's already CD14, 10 days of injections for nothing. I was really hoping they would tell me I'm ready to trigger, how very disappointing.

miss b - sorry you didn't get as many as you were expecting fertalised. did you do icsi or ivf? (i do icsi). the only time i tried ivf, i got 2 out of 6 fertalised. not great, but i like to think that those 2 must have been fabulous... just like your 4 embies will be... they are probably exhausted & dizzy right now with all the hard work they have been donig splitting & dividing in to perfect little blasts...

mrs mac - so frustrating when your body decides not to play the game. hope your clinic can up your injections to get things rolling.

emma - best of luck in the tww. xx

    hi to everyone else.

    Hi ladies!

    Congrats on four Miss B!

Hang in there Mrs Mac, hopefully it's a case of slow & steady wins the race

Hi everyone else, I hope you have been having a good week!

Afm I start jabbing tonight, finally!! it feels like this has been going on for ages I have had several things added to my protocol this time hopefully it I'll help with the lining issue from last time. Can I ask if anyone has had to have filgrastim? Also I am taking melatonin & porgynova this time, is there anything I should know that the nurse & pharmacist wouldn't have told me? (ie the clexane injections )

    Have a great Friday!!!!

    Hi ladies,

There is no one like you wonderful ladies to put things in perspective for me, thank you so much. At the end of the day, my cycle didn't get cancelled, I actually did get eggs, and some of them have even fertilized so that's something 4 isn't that bad really, and I know it really only takes the one!

Andie, you are very funny hun! Thanks for the laugh We've always done ISCI as my FS said it's the fastest way to get pg. I don't know where he got that from, he must think DF's swimmers are lazy! lol.

PlanetSasha, yay for your fisrt jab tonight! I also got very excited about my first jab GL sweetie!

Aww Mrs Mac, hopefully your body starts to co operate very soon

Vic thanks for that hun, I am really hopeful that at least one makes it to blast. I remember you staying really calm in your last cycle that worked, I think I will have to do the same And I know what you mean about the 'age' thing, suddenly it's such a rush to get what you want out of your fertile years (well I wouldn't call 42 fertile, lol) before the curtain is closed for good.

Myturn, you will catch up in no time honey, can't wait for you to start jabbing!

Joeve, you crack me up hun! You've remembered my green dots

MummyNaomi, thanks for that lovely and thanks so much for popping in! It's always so nice to hear from you

Emma thanks hun, how are you surviving your TWW?

AFM, I start the crinone gel tonight. I still don't know why they got me to start before the embie transfer, I've always started the crinone right after the transfer. Oh well, I might need some extra ones! Am hoping and praying like mad my lovely embies are doing their thing and are dividing nicely
