Maggie ~ Welcome and hi. Beautiful name (my gorgeous angel sis was a Maggie). I also had low HCG last preg, it did end with a m/c but I also had low progesterone. At the time I did heaps of reading and found that many other woman had really low HCG's and went on to have beautiful children. So if possible try not too stress and keep hoping. Will have everything crossed for you.
