Thanks for all your replies. I go for the second blood test this morning. I must admit, I'm not very hopeful but am open to miracles. Told DH we'd either be celebrating tonight or consoling each other with a bottle of wine on the couch.
I'm hoping for the best for all of you who are still waiting for results.

Just a question how did you decide to either have 1 blastie transferred or 2 X 3day embies? My Dr said with me they would most likely transfer 2 day 3 or maybe it was day 2 but should I push for 1 day 5? It was due to travelling nothing else. He said due to the distance we are going to go the clinic usually collects on Friday and transfers something back (if anything) on the monday. Did you go with what the FS suggested or question why?

We have just changed to a new Dr and he wants to do a 2dt this cycle (because I don't get many eggs/embryos). I want us to try for a 5dt again (even though we had nothing to transfer last time we tried with our old Dr) and have told him as much. I'm still expecting to have to fight him on it because he never actually agreed to it in our last appointment, but I figure it's my body, our embryos, our risk and our money, so it's our decision.
Maggie - I'm so sorry to hear the bad news. That really sucks. I suppose it's good news that you got at least to the chem preg stage, but it still sucks.
Chekigal and glenny c - good luck in your twws. Glenny C, I hope you have cheered up since your other post. I was just reading the Crinone package insert's list of side effects, and it definitely sounds like the meds. Please don't be too hard on yourself.
Melissal - very belated happy b-day to you and hope your BT went well today.

AFM, I had my EPU this morning. They got 6 eggs. I don't know how the quality is. Nobody said anything negative, though. I think I'm pretty happy that they got 6. I was freaking out that most of my 8 follies were going to be empty since I had very low day 7 E2 levels. There were 2 other girls in the recovery room at the hospital with me who'd also had EPUs today; one of them had 2 eggs retrieved, and the other only 1. So I felt kind of greedy with my 6. Now I'm just resting. I'm a little crampy, but it's not that bad. Must be the morphine pill they gave me - LOL. My dad arrives tomorrow from overseas for 2 1/2 weeks with us. Luckily I spent the whole day cleaning the house yesterday so I don't need to worry about it today. I *did* stupidly assume that I'd be able to make it to the supermarket at some point this afternoon or evening. Now I'm thinking I might just take my dad with me after he gets here tomorrow since it's so nice just resting here at home.
Well, getting achy. Might head back to bed now.

Hiya, just a quickie little me post. BFN which sucks but kinda felt it coming. DH was so sure that I wouldn't have the willpower not to poas so I was determined to hold out and not do one. I succeeded and gotta say, never again!!!! Why in hell would I put myself through two hours of crap waiting for the phone to ring to tell me something I'd know after 5 mins with an HPT? And that two hours is with me knowing people in th right places so I could get the call literally as soon as the results were off the machine!!! So, from here on in, I join the poas addict club . I must be getting tough in my old age because I am doing ok - it does help that we are booked in for round two which I am really pleased about with only a few months to wait so as far as a crushing bfn day can go, I feel ok.

Melissal - sorry to hear about your BFN, I understand about POAS'ing, although I have to admit I don't use them after having a few chemicals. My clinic is fantastic and will let me have my BT early if I want, but I completely understand not feeling able to go through all that, esp. when (you think) you know it's a BFN. Glad to hear you are having a another one soon, hopefully that will be your well deserved BFP!
KiKat - Look after yourself, you'll need it for the coming nine months...
Terry - Hope the wait is going OK for you, and that the scan goes well.
Leabie - sounds great, I love that you got to see it! (I can't do that at my clinic) I hope that the 2WW (well much shorter than that for you!) goes quickly with a fantastic result.
Maggie - Sorry to hear your news, it's a good sign though that something happened, so hopefully soon it will be your turn
Loops - It can take quite a while for your body to get back to normal after what yours has been through, not that of course I am not hoping for good news for you.
