Sorry I've been missing for a few days. I still have a week to go before my BT and was finding it easier to not be constantly checking the boards than to be thinking about it all the time. Not to say I haven't been lurking a bit to keep up with everyone, but I just didn't have the wherewithal to sit down and type. Anyway, I wanted to write a few notes before I got any further behind.
Chekigal -- I'm so so sorry to hear your bad news. How disappointing for you. Best wishes for your time off and hoping you get your BFP while you are on your break. (((Hugs)))
K78 - I felt equally bad to hear your bad news, esp. after the positive HPT. I hope that you will be able to take some time for yourself, and that you'll be feeling ready to move on to the next step soon. I hope you've managed to enjoy a nice glass of wine (if you like wine) and relax a bit these last few days.
Trueblue - great to hear that your cycle will be able to progress despite your cyst. Good luck getting it removed next week.
Leabie -- good luck with your BT tomorrow!
Tantee- how incredibly frustrating to lose a whole month! I can't believe your FS didn't tell you until now that he was planning to go out of town at the critical moment in your cycle next month! Could you ask if your FS has a colleague who could help you in his absence instead of making you lose the month?
Maggie – good luck with your FET cycle next week. I’m hoping to try a FET next month assuming that I get a negative BT next week. Did you have to start discussing how you would do the FET before you even got the result of your BT last cycle? Or were you able to sort that out afterwards? Just asking b/c I’m wondering if I should be calling my FS this week to discuss even though I still have a week till my BT . . .
Justonemore – good luck with your TWW!
Babytruj – how did your scan go?
Good luck to all of you ladies doing FETs in the next week!
AFM, I’m one week into my TWW. My BT is a week from today. I’ve been pretty relaxed most of the time, mainly b/c I’m just trying not to think about it. Then in spurts I’ll start thinking that there’s more I should be doing, which will lead me to Dr Google, where I see all sorts of contradictory evidence about things that help. So then I renew my vow to stay away from the computer since it seems to get my stress levels up. I did have acupuncture this morning, which is so great for stress relief. The interesting thing I’m noticed is that the first 4 or 5 days post transfer, I had all sorts of symptoms (bloating, nausea, etc) that must have been either delayed side effects from all the injections, or perhaps new side effects from the Crinone. But now everything’s died down, and I feel the most “normal”, bodywise, that I’ve felt since starting this cycle. Even the bloating’s finally gone away. I hope that’s not a bad sign. I asked the nurse from the clinic when she called to check in with me yesterday, and she seemed to think it didn’t mean anything. By the way, Chekigal, I totally forgot to ask her about the timing of the BT and now I’m embarrassed to call back and sound like I’m second-guessing them. Next time I speak to her I might ask why the wait is so long . . .
Good luck to all of you and “hi” to anyone I’ve missed.
