Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Emma, great news. Fingers and toes triple crossed for you!
Sarah, good god, that sounds super stressful with your BF. I think it's amazing you can be as patient as you are, and definitely a breather not a bad idea. I was afraid to drink a cup of Earl Gray tea in pregnancy. Different worlds.
AFM, nothing new. Delayed O. Was getting a bit worked up, and then thought, F- it, don't have the energy for this (and pretty soon, not the money either, because relying on OPK sticks). After this, we see FS and consider PGD. I really really cannot decide. We have 7 embryos. I think there is a thread on PGD so I might post a question there.
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
MissB, also wanted to say I feel for you in being reluctant to visit a new FS and wondering what they'll say. Obviously, it is better to find out than worry. I don't know about you, but I find I feel so frustrated that it feels like my fate is determined by some man (or woman) in a white coat. Getting a real white coat phobia here! GL!
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Emma, I hope everything's going well with your embryos. 7 out of 9 fertilizing is a fantastic rate !
Sarah, ugh, it's so utterly unfair that we can't get pregnant despite so much effort, and then we have to be around people who seem to abuse the privilege. Not that going to the gym is an abuse, but smoking is.
Afm, the test results definitely won't be in time to start this cd 21, so next cycle it is. In fact, apparently the phlebotomist didn't sign some declaration that is required for certain tests, so I have to go back for more, once the referral arrives in the mail! I'd be very annoyed if this were going to hold up my cycle, but it's actually the ovarian reserve tests that take 3 weeks anyway.
And we have decided to move house in September. FX I'll be jus getting over MS by that stage!
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Haven't been really posting in here Emma but from 5 collected, 4 fertilised, we got 3 to testing with 2 unaffected. Unfortunately only 1 of those was good enough for transfer so I am actually in my tww. Not sure when my bt is, just hoping for the best xx
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Just a quickie to say I took a hpt day after trigger (6 dpo) and it was dark + and this morning 5 days later it's still just as dark!... Shouldn't it be fading after 5 days?!
And my pg symptoms are still strong lol kinda hard not to hope.
Id post my hpt pics but I don't know how.
Please pray for a sticky bub for this one girls
It's a lovely dark line ! http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMAG1528.jpg

Do you think it's real?
Sorry nobody is in the 2ww to chat to lol.
Oh pholi it drives me crazy my bf is still smoking! I'm with you Im a bit of a nut now trying to make a healthy bub. I know we all are on our searches for trying to have our bubs in this lttc!
Emma I hope all the embies are good! Or at least the 4 . So you have to pay per one after 4?! It figures!! And the price of ltttc goes up again. The longer you do it, you get ...oh joy, to watch the price rise!
And Joe I hope your golden embie sticks like super glue
Good luck girlies xoxox

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Sarah, it's hard to say for sure only 5 days after the last hcg shot, but it looks promising! Try testing again tomorrow or the day after and see if it's getting darker or lighter...
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Thanks juniper
That's what I'm thinking but I am suspicious as it should be much lighter at least being 5 days past hcg shot( it was the 250mcg ovidrel fyi)
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014
Best of luck Sarah!
I hope your HPT stays dark
AFM-
I have mild OHSS.
Tightness in rib cage
Shortness of breath
Nausea
Thankfully- no weight gain, vomiting and minimal bloating.
My nurse is happy to monitor me from home.
Tomorrow is the big day- we find out our PGD results.....
Fingers crossed!
