Just a quickie update from me, but we've got 9 fertilised embies The clinic did ICSI on 13 of my 20 eggs, and 9 fertilised. I'm stoked!

That is wonderful news - I hope when my time comes I get a result like that. Good luck for the next few days as they continue to grow.

Hi everyone an update from me i had my scan and bloods today and the FS told me that everything is going perfectly for EPU next Wed 20th i think i had about 10-12 follicles and she said that was fine, have to have another scan and bloods on monday then the big day.

Hi girls,

Like clock work and as predicted my AF arrived today... had a little cramping and then some spotting which I know will turn to full flow by tomorrow. This means ovulation will be roughly on the 27th of August (14 days later) and FET on the 1st of Sept.. seems like I won't be joining Bel, Nixon, Mel or Cherie for the TWW. Good luck girls. Bel, I have my fingers crossed especially for you. I know the feeling of cramps and a sense of doom when I feel AF coming. But darling, no AF is no AF. You're still in the race.

Hopefully I will be travelling with KateB, KellyD and Aleenta.

To anyone else I have missed wishing you the best of luck.

ps DH has been offered a job (he had stopped working for 3 years to study fulltime). We are very thrilled as this would mean another income... more money for treatment if needed be.

Well great news around with Mindy and Cherie - it is fantastic!

Thanks for the advice girls - I think you're right. Just need to be patient - and hey wont I need that as well when bubs finally turns up!! I've also decided that I'm going to use this time to eat things I wont be able to when I'm pregnant (salami, soft cheese, etc etc ). Gotta find something positive out of the wait!

NIxon - am keeping my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow! Let us know how you go.

Bel and that your little one sticks.

Kahlan - you would make a fine travelling companion along with KellyD and Aleetna - the awesome foursome perhaps???

Congrats Cherie on the embies, good luck for ET. you're lucky to be getting straight on with it, my FS was more cautious when i had 19 eggs cause he didn't want to risk OHSS... watch out for that ok!
Smithy, :goodluck2: for your new FS appt, hope you get good advice. sounds like you live a long way from town!

AFM, had a few acupuncture sessions now, highly recommended! as much for stress as for nurturing your system, its amazing what some little needles can do... On Day 4 of cycle, seeing FS on 19th to look at timing for FET, yay! Just gotta that this time the embies survive the thaw better... might be with a few of you in TWW land soon, yippee!

Hi all, sorry have been awol again but think i will be around a bit more over the coming weeks. Had our transfer today, 1 blastocyst transferred this afternoon. Apparently it started growing really fast after they defrosted it which they take as a good sign. Beta is on Monday 25 August, will try not to go nuts in the TWW!

I just got back from my first meeting with the FS. I showed him all my charts, and ultrasounds, blood tests and hubby's SA. He said he cant find a reason why we havent had a BFP yet. Apparantly he isnt concered about hubby's low numbers of rapidly progressive sperm, only the progressive ones, so hubby is off the hook.

He wants me to do a lap but we aren't covered by our insurance, so we are doing a HSG instead. He said I am ovulating on my own, so no clomid for me. I feel like we really didn't make any progress . This cycle its too late to do anything, and next cycle at CD1 is the HSG and then I need to wait a few weeks to get back in to see the FS again. So two more natural cycles at least. Ugh this is so slow and painful! There were pregnant women at the FS waiting room and when I went to get my medicare rebate back, there were babies everywhere . He did an ultrasound today and said all looks good except for a thin lining (only 5mm), and a smallish follicle (13mm) on the RHS.

kahlan: i don't remember evryone. i read the posts and make notes as i go as i have enough on my mind without adding to it. i then just rember bits and pieces and after a while i get to know everyone and the basic story i hope. would be great to be having bubsicle transfers near each other.
