Nic, best best wishes for you. I can so understand that your morning is a bit nerve-wrecking, but at least Acupuncture will help you to relax. Talking about 'being nice to hubby', funnily enough, my DH had similar comments while I was stimed on drugs... Hoep transfer will go ok and you will have a few to freeze as well.

Mindy, good to hear that 6 has been fertilized and hope they continue to grow and everything will be on track!

AFM: had faint 2nd line for ov test so had my blood taken today and was positive for ov . anyway i had acu today, last one before bubsicle tfer and extra support for fertility
so my bubsicle tfer is booked for monday , it will be 3 day embryo so then my test date will be prob 4th of sep so count down is on.
i've booked in a heap of stuff to keep me busy in TWW. i feel excited and a bit nervous too but i feel way more relaxed this time!!!

Hi girls
So sorry i have been AWOL for the last few days been a bit of a hectic week, my mum had a fall on tuesday and was rushed to the ED at my work so that was very distressing...she broke a few ribs and is badly bruised but my sister in law has come to help look after her. Went for a BT and US on wednesday had 14 follicles over 1.9 and another 10 above 1.4 not to mention the other 100 small ones, so had my trigger last night at 10:15m and having EPU tomrrow morning, they are predicting a freeze all in my case. Then to make matters worse my puppy has been sick and she has ended up in hospital on a drip. so much going on im going crazy!!!!! On top of all this i have been trying to work and have my first uni assignment due tomorrow oh and its my birthday!!

Well sorry for the me me me post, hope everything is ok with everyone.

Hi Everyone

I'm currently in my first IVF/ICSI cycle and thought I'd join everyone here so I can have someone to chat to about it!

I have finished taking the pill and only on Syneral now.
Today was my first U/S with my FS to check the everything is clear. No Cysts and endo was 4mm so FS was happy and was told to start gonal-f on Sunday.
I have my next U/S on Friday and I guess I'll find out how things are going then.

I am a little nervous, and hope it all goes ok. I guess I had a taste for this during my 2 IUI procedures, but there are alot more things that can go wrong with IVF so just trying to keep positive and stay patient, and am hoping for the best.

Good luck to everyone currently in a cycle and those who are about to start. Its all so exciting but scary at the same time!

Marsha - Maybe you need a peppermint foot scrub/massage to get the circulation going again? It might help.

Bee83 - Sorry to hear about your run of dramas. Happy Birthday Sweets. There are a million cliches I could throw at you, but sometime life just sucks and there are not enough hours in the day. Be kind to yourself.

AFM - Transfer went fine. No dramas there. Apparently the lining was looking fantastic now all the little buggar needs to do is hold on for dear life. Another pregnyl dose tonight then nothing more to do but wait until Sept 1st.

I got a call today that they ended up freezing 1 embie at day 5 and 2 at day 6. They originally told me that it would only be one unless the others really really started working hard. Turns out they did. Woo!! One of them was at the blastocyst hatching (?) stage? I hope that means good things for the one that was sent home on Thursday.

Me.........back from BT, progesterone level is good so jus got to remain on the current dosage of the medications. I cant wait for next week but am jus SUPER SCARED to know the result. i either me over the top or on the lowest of the lows....For now....

Hi Everyone.

Newbie here. Am looking for any info or advice. My fiance had a vasectomy after kids from a previous marriage. Our doc has recommended IVF/Aspiration as our best option. No idea what I'm getting myself into, don't know where to start. Doing my head in because it's all I can think about 24/7. Any insight you can offer is much appreciated...

Also am new to this forum stuff so please be patient while I learn the lingo...

Brideof chucky: I had IVF/ICSI with my dh had vasectomy 5 years ago. they just stuck a needle in his (ouch) and took out some of his friends.
i got 11 eggs and 7 fertilised and i've got 6 bubs on ice. i felt like you and joined BB befor 1st IVF. the girls in here were fantastic and gave me support all the way thru. anyway i am about to do first froz tfer in morning so best of luck to you.

AFM: well bubsicle tfer in morning then TWW for me. will let you know how it all goes.
