Jasmine - I do Acupunture too with this cycle I had a session a day before IUI, then one two days later, last week I had two sessions and I have another tomorrow....all to do with helping fertilized egg implant and for stress relief.
I love going it really helps me to relax, i usually fall asleep which is wonderful

Re my meds for this IUI

    CD 3 - 11 Gonal F 37.5
    CD 11 - Ovidril 250
    CD 15 - Ovidril 6 clicks
    CD 18 - Ovidril 6 clicks
    CD 20 - Ovidril 6 clicks
CD 19 onwards - progesterone pessaries

I usually have a 12 day Luteal phase so I beleive that's why I am on the pessaries

Thanks Juniper. I might test on the weekend to see if the trigger is gone (or almost gone).

PositivelyTTC- Yep the HCG (ovidrel) and pessaries are both great leutal phase support and should prevent any early bleeding. Are you going to POAS or wait it out till BT?

Just a quick post to say progesterone pessaries, crinone, pregnyl, etc will not necessarily stop bleeding. Many women on this forum have experienced bleeding while on luteal support, myself included several times.

I am seriously thinking of POAS on Saturday morning before going in for the BT

I should probably wait but the suspense will kill me so bugger it and I have two tests in the bathroom so they may as well get used

It was my bday on Sunday so I am praying for a BFP as a late bday pressie

Hope everyone is going well and we can add some BFP to this month very soon!

AFM - I am on a natural cycle and have been using OPK'S since CD8, I am now CD14 and got a faint test line this afternoon, should I test agin tonight or wait until morning? I was starting to worry nothing was going to happen

Agreed. The pregnyl has always delayed AF for me, but the progesterone certainly doesn't. I had AF show up early after our first IVF (just 2x crinone daily for luteal support). Even after last year's natural FET, AF showed up a day early (for no apparent reason!) in spite of me using 2x 200mg progesterone pessaries daily.

Kel, if you think you could possibly get the positive tonight, then there's no harm in testing again. I usually start testing at least twice per day once the line starts to darken, and 3 times per day if the tests are getting close to positive.

Thanks PositivelyTTC . Happy belated birthday for last Sunday! I hope that you'll get a BFP for your late birthday pressie.

Jasmine, I only do the trigger shot just before EPU so then I wait around 10 days later to start testing. Honestly, I have been 'known' to start testing as early as 2 to 3 days post transfers (especially in my last 2 cycles) just to watch the trigger go out of my system and the line to start appearing (IF it's going to make an appearance). I don't understand why some women get several trigger shots....especially I don't understand the ones post EPU, what are they for? Sorry for stupid questions. My good friend had 3 trigger shots, I never understood why 3.

Kel, GL with your natural cycle hun

N2L, I hate O pains, somethimes they are as strong as AF for me, very annoying...

AFM, the nurse told me to increase my progynova tabs from 3 to 5 daily, in an effort to thicken up my lining. She is hoping the follicle is an 'inactive' one and that by next scan which will be next Monday, it wouldn't have grown in size. If that's the case, I will have a transfer next week Friday. IF the follicle is active and grows, the cycle will be most probably cancelled.

Miss B - my hrt cycle they didn't do a scan till day 13 and I was only 6.3mm. A week later my lining was thinner at 5.7mm do I was put on 6 progynova a day & estrogen patches every 2nd day. I stated on that for another 2 weeks till my lining was ok then had a week of progesterone before transfer. Remember they are manipulating your cycle so it can take weeks for your lining to get to a good thickness. They never checked if I had any follicles. I hope your next scan brings good news.

N2l & positively ttc - last cycle I had stabbing pains on my right side in luteal phase. Had ultrasound & they told me it was my corpus luteal cyst. They also told me I was pregnant & I wasn't it was just a pseudo sac in my uterus. Te pains went away after 4 days.

I'm just waiting till Thursday - have bt (no scan yet too early for me). My estrogen was high at baseline bloods so guessing they checking on that?

Juniper, I forgot to say that I think it's great that you're cutting down on sugar. I think every single little bit helps!

Beau, thanks for that hun I hope the lining doesn't take too long to thicken up! I was wondering why the lady was zoning in on this suspicious black lump (which I dreaded was a fibroid) it was a bloody follie! I just hope it's an inactive one so we don't have to worry about it. FX for next Monday hey, and FX for your BT on Thursday

    Hi to everyone too!

Speaking of bleeding... Ugh, looks like tomorrow will be CD1... I'm having some wine. It's my new sugar, but easier to quit.
