Speaking of bleeding... Ugh, looks like tomorrow will be CD1... I'm having some wine. It's my new sugar, but easier to quit.![]()
Juniper, I forgot to say that I think it's great that you're cutting down on sugar. I think every single little bit helps!
Beau, thanks for that hunI hope the lining doesn't take too long to thicken up! I was wondering why the lady was zoning in on this suspicious black lump (which I dreaded was a fibroid) it was a bloody follie! I just hope it's an inactive one so we don't have to worry about it. FX for next Monday hey, and FX for your BT on Thursday

Hi to everyone too!
Speaking of bleeding... Ugh, looks like tomorrow will be CD1... I'm having some wine. It's my new sugar, but easier to quit.![]()
Oh bugger Juniper, but wine is allowed!
Ok so I tested again last night and the line was still faint, I tested again this morning and it is darker and I am pretty sure it is the same colour as the control line!!! So I will test again this afternoon but I am pretty certain we will be pulling out the "do not disturb" signs for tonight and tomorrow while we make a baby!!!. So if my positive reading is today does that make O day tomorrow??
Bugger Juniper!
Good luck Kel!!!
AFM- I've been added to the surgery wait list for my lap and hysto.
Should have it done within 3 months.... Until then- I guess I just hang around.
Great news Kel! I am not 100% sure about the timing of O from the positive OPK's, I have never been able to have them work, but I would get busy for the next day or two
Sorry to hear Juniper, I almost wish I was in your boat, I have been like clockwork since being on clomid and the one cycle I want af to arrive it is not......Boo, I want to get started on this cycle and I am stuck waiting for a witchI would enjoy your wine though and good for you for making diet changes, every little bit helps along the way.
Miss B. I hope your lining starts behaving and your follie turns out to be inconsequential.
Good Luck for tomorrow my turn, you must be so excited for another tx.

Kel, I've always assumed 24 hours after the darkest OPK.
Emma, FX the time passes quickly.
Afm, I'm starting to worry about this trend of shorter cycles. I've had a 32 day cycle my entire life and suddenly I'm getting 30, 29, 28 and now 27 days. I desperately hope it's just because of the medicated cycles we've done recently, but I'm worried it's the beginning of the end...![]()
Good morning Ladies,
Another day has dawned which brings with it new hope
Juniper - dont read too much in to the shorter cycles likely it's just the med's when you see women in their mid to late 40's having babies there is always hope for us. Oh what I would do for a glass of red wine!!
Kel - when we have used the OPK as soon as I see the line is the same as the control line we go for it for at least 3 days, every bit has to help
MissB - all the best hope that lining starts to thicken up beautifully for you and that folli does as it should - i know this probably sounds a little weird but seriously find some quiet time and talk to your body tell it and visualise as you do what you want it to do. Our minds are stronger than we think if you think it long and hard enough your body can and will respond. Look at Circle + Bloom website for more on this mind body relationship I started using it this cycle and love it
Myturn - GL for tomorrow, all the very best
AFM - cramping I had yesterday is gone, feel heavy and full below though and lower backache. Usually I am Miss moody days before AF however I feel really good, i feel on top of the world and no chocolate cravings either. Officially my TTW ends tomorrow I counted and have 4 POAS tests at home so tempted to do one tomorrow but also so afraid so not sure will see tomorrow morning. Have an Acupunture appt this evening
Wishing you all a lovely day and GL with whatever you are doing and wherever you are in your cycle
Juniper- Hope you enjoyed your wine last night. I have no idea about shorter cycles... But I'm much the same, if I'm not on a medicated cycle I'm lucky to get 3 weeks between periods.
MissB- The HCG injections after EPU / Ovulation are not 'trigger' injections.. They are like a booster injection. According to my FS they support the Corpus Luteal cyst left on your ovary after O and therefor help increase progesterone. I am apparently having them along with the Provera, Crinone and pessaries to try and prevent early bleeding.
I'm crossing everything that the increased dose of Progynova helps thicken your lining. I wonder why they cancel your cycle if it's an active follie on your ovary? Clinics are so different cause this FET cycle my FS was trying to encourage my ovaries to produce at least one follie. But I guess different FS's have different ways of doing things. Anyway praying like mad for you honey!
Beau- GL with your BT tomorrow.. I'm praying that your lining is thickening up nicely too!
MyTurn- One more sleep till tx.. You must be getting pretty excited to have your snowflake on board.
MrsOM- Don't you hate it when the only time the witch is late is when your willing her to arrive!
PositivelyTTC- How are you sweetie? Hope the cramps have calmed down.
N2L- How are you feeling? Hope your cramps are easing too.
Kel- My understanding is that you O a day or so after the surge. I would be BD for the next few days just to be sure.
AFM- Started getting some light cramps this morning but nothing too bad and still no bleeding. Effects of my massive amounts of Progesterone are well and truly kicking in. POAS this morning in an attempt to 'test out' the Pregnyl. There is obviously a second line but no where near as dark as the control line. Think I will do another tomorrow as it should be lighter and then I will test again next week before my BT. I know I'm naughty for testing early but I know by next week I will be dying to be put out of my misery.. If its a BFN I would rather just know and deal with it than anxiously wait for the clinic to call!!
The thing about women that age conceiving is that it is the strong exception, not the rule.
I saw a FS last week who said the average 42 year old has a 1-2 percent chance per cycle of getting UTD. IVF raises it to five per cent.
Sucks basically![]()
I'm sure you're right Juniper
And yet my stupid heart won't give up....
You've got to be in it to win it...
Lol. True. I've just been in it for far too long![]()
I know the feeling...
I'm sorry about what I said before (about the birth rate). I'm feeling very pessimistic right now and I shouldn't spread that negativity to the rest of the group. I should have kept it to myself. I hope I didn't upset anyone.
Well you know me. I think a healthy dose of realism is a good thing. IVF is often peddled as the ultimate answer to infertility. Sad truth is, while you don't hear much about it, for many it simply doesn't work.
