Thanks for the tip, worrywart. Would I have to take the day off for the HSG or could I still work an arvo shift?

Gosh, sorry, didn't mean to alarm - you wouldn't need to take any time off. I found it a bit full on because of my endo, which was not diagnosed at the time. I just wish someone had said to me, okay, this is quite full on (for a few minutes) and maybe take something and don't feel bad about it.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August 2014

    Hi girls,

Had our appointment with our FS yesterday and it went really well. He is such a lovely down to earth guy with the best bed side manner, yesterday cemented just how happy I am with him.

We discussed my birth with DS and he was horrified with some of the things I told him about my care through both my ob and the hospital. He is an OB/GYN but retired from obstetrics in june 12, just after I got my BFP We have decided that one embryo is best rather than placing two back due to both my high risk of hyperemesis again even with one baby and a small amount of PND when DS was born which he thinks is related to the hyperemesis while pregnant with DS. We also found out that we actually have 5 embryos in storage (4 blasts and a very average looking day 3) so our last blast that wasn't looking so great did make it to freeze. We also thought we only had one straw of hubby's sperm left in the freezer but we actually have 9! It's pretty cool as well because a friend of mine is an embryologist at our clinic and she got to look at our embryos and said the blasts look fantastic quality

So we go to Bali the day my period is due in Sep (easy to count ahead as I have a smack on 32 days cycle both pre and post bub) so we will start tracking on day 10 when we get home (all going to plan of course) and have another natural FET. I'm scared, excited, nervous, happy and a whole lot of other emotions at the moment.

    Aim x

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August 2014

    Sorry about AF, 1MP.

Chellico and Caty, FX for both of you still!

I'm wishing my life away atm, wanting to start the egg collection cycle. I have a string of birthdays coming up, including my 40th, and I'm struggling to get excited at all cos I just want to be pg. And bring on the pill this month means no chance if falling naturally. Not that it was likely, but at least I had hope!

    1MP, you'd aim to transfer a 5d blast at 5dpo.
