Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August 2014

Thanks again ladies. Nervous as heck and really annoyed that AF is still MIA....

I'll be in hospital overnight, but pretty sure I had internet access last time, so will try to do The List tomorrow as usual (but if someone else wants to have a go, feel free).

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August 2014

Can you update me to taking a break when the list goes again...

Is AF after a failed transfer always really heavy & painful? I've never had one like this & I'm not sure I can go through all this again & again to have another baby... This has been so far the most horrid, painful experience of my life... I'm feeling very sorry for myself today... 😞

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August 2014

    Hi Girls,

I am hoping to join you in here. I saw my OB/GYN today and he has referred me to a fertility specialist as clomid is not working and he thinks IVF is my best bet of getting pregnant. I have a history of endometriosis (removed Nov 2007) Missed miscarriage Oct 08, Clomid 50mg 1st cycle- had my daughter in Sept 2009. Clomid 50mg and cycle 2 - had my son March 2012. Have been trying for 7 months (4 of those clomid) This clomid cycle was 150mg and my day 21 bloodiest 2 days ago showed I haven't ovulated. I also have PCOS and completely wacked out hormones, low ovarian reserve, small, shrinking ovaries and he thinks I will go through menopause sooner rather than later so time is not on our side. I turn 31 next thursday which is the day of my 1st appoint with the fertility specialist!

My OB/Gyn said they may start me on injectible drugs (no idea how I'll go with giving needles to myself) or may go straight to IVF.

Looking forward to getting to know you

Chellico, so sorry to hear you are having a rough AF right now. I had that experience too, after fresh cycles. Also thanks for asking how I am going, but I can't post in here anymore, so you can check out the Pregnancy after Miscarriage thread where I post occasionally.

    All the best guys,
